I own this car - My approximate mileage is 300,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Great on gas, reliable, convenient"
Cons: "Body doesn't last as long as engine"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I bought the vehicle in 2011 with 250,000 KM. I have only had to change the fluids, the timing belt, and the brakes. The suspension has gone on it, bottoms out very easily and I haven't had the opportunity to get it repaired. The exhaust hangs low on the car, causing it to scrape on the ground when the car bottoms out. I have replaced the speakers and the stereo with a modern sound system. The electronics on the car (sun roof, windows, locks, driver seat) all work fine. Great on gas, 65 - 70 liters of gas lasts approximately 600 KM in the city and 700 KM on the highway. I had a flat tire the other day and was very surprised to find a full size spare in my trunk, (not sure if it came stock or the previous owner had left it there). The car handles well despite the suspension issues, and highway driving is very smooth, plenty of passing power even for a 2.2 4 cylinder. The engine runs great, it has started in -30 degree Celsius weather unplugged without a hiccup. The body is starting to rust, the clear coat is chipping off the roof, small cosmetic"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 115,800
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Super reliable and very comfortable to drive."
Cons: "Cheap plastic, two outside door handles broke off!"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"Extremely reliable. I purchased this vehicle in 2007 (with some nervousness) with 114,600 miles already on it, but the previous owner had changed the timing belt and put in new struts. plus the dealership did other things. It was an excellent, excellent $5,000 car. It just gave up the ghost recently, after I drove it for an 100K miles in 6-1/2 years. It rarely needed work, and the engine still runs well, although is using oil. Over its second life (114 to 215K) I only had to put in new front struts, a wheel bearing, replace the starter and of course keep up with brakes and oil chamges, and replace the exhaust thanks to wintery ice and road salt. - Normal things, and it was an old car to begin with! Extremely reliable vehicle: I was only caught out one time when the starter failed and then the AAA man made it work by striking the starter, so I was not really stranded. Comfortable to drive. If you find one well maintained, it would be worth considering."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 177,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Easy to drive, user friendly interior, 25.9 mpg"
Cons: "Tan interior, the 4 is gutless, low book value"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"Well I bought this car for work and it has now turned into our daily every car. Comfort is a bliss and the design is so basic for a fairly well equipped that I love it! I have a loaded 2004 Durango with every option short of GPS and I do have to say that my little puddle jumper, camery, is much more comfortable and easy to drive. The interior in it is a light color with a black exterior which is ok, I do wish that the interior was black as to fit my gangsta work car, haha it's a joke! Well I guess I have three complaints, interior is too light, tan, not a biggy, that's why the car gods invented interior matching sear covers! The 2.2 4 is a bit gutless, but I guess if I wanted snappy throttle response I could drive the Durango, and finally the book value kinda sucks. But I remember if I want something with all of those I would take the Durango! Best car ever, I love it."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 147,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Quiet ride; comfortable; ultra reliable; safe"
Cons: "Some repair parts are getting expensive in Europe"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I bought this car used with about 20000 miles. Initially, there were some problems with the rattling noise in the front Suspension, after having replaced the struts it disappeared. Highly reliable car. I have the European model with 2.2 l engine, manual Transmission. In Europe standard equipment was automatic climate control, power steering, 4 power Windows, power central door lock, Audio System with 4 loudspeakers and power antenna, 4 air bags, fog lights and ABS. Mine has in addition a 6-cd-changer. All electric equipment is still working perfectly well. Also the engine never failed; I still have the first transmission, the first exhaust pipe(!!) and the first catalytic converter. In Germany we do not have Speed Limit; the Camry is quite rare here (this model has been sold only about 5000 times in Germany) and hardly anybody knows it. I know it is mainly built for cruising, but the engine and the Suspension also allow going on a faster ride. My car is still running fine and reaches its top speed of 200 km/h (125 mph)very easily, sometimes exceedng it. No severe oil consumption. Many friends are still amazed about the quiet engine and quiet ride and want to know whether it is a 6-cylinder model. So far no corrosion is visible. My car always has passed the German obligatory technical revision every 2 years. It definitely gives me no reason to look for something else."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 11,750
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"This car is regulary serviced at the Toyota place in Dalton, GA. Has new tires, non smoker, leather seats, Sun roof also has spoiler on trunk. White with beige trim also seats are beige leather. To me the car has sentmental value, has only failed to crank due to needing a new battery. The battery was replaced for the 1st time. The mileage is low for a 2001 has all new belts and checked out at the Toyota place. They want for me to trade it in but I would rather sell straigh out if I don't change my mind. Everything works, I feel kind of stupid for wanting a new car when this one I feel that I could drive as many years as I already have. Could you please let me know what a 2001 Toyota Camry LE decked out would sell for "If I choose to sell it"?"
