"I've had this vehicle since 2000 (bought used). I've never had much mechanical work, brakes, struts. Every 5,000 miles, oil change and check up for minors. Greatest, dependable car I've ever owned. I have owned Toyota's since 1975 and find that they are all incredibly dependable cars. . .Celica, Corolla, Tercel and Camry."
"Never had the A/C worked on or Freon added and I get ice cold air in the peak of summer in 10 seconds. And I live in Phoenix! Other than maintenance, it just keeps running, and running very well.
Thank you Toyota Engineers and Factory Workers!"
Pros: "Reliability, gas mileage, inexpensive to maintain"
Cons: "Not the most sexy design, plain inside and out"

"Had this car since new. As far as reliability and durability its probably the best car ever made. Just look at how many you still see on the road. Not many cars from the 90's are still around, and I still see dozens per day of this model. This car has over 200,000 miles and all Ive ever done is follow the maintenance schedule. Never had ANY problems or issues with it. Only had to replace the brakes once in all this time. I have talked to other owners of this generation of Camry and they have told me the same thing. If you are looking for a used car that wont cost a lot to operate and gets good gas mileage this is the car for you."
"I purchased my 2000 Toyota Camry from an individual in 2007. (I was a little hesitant because I had always driven a Ford) It had only 42k miles on it and it was in immaculate condition. Now it's 8 years and almost 200k miles later and I couldn't be happier with the decision that I made to purchase the Toyota Camry. I couldn't ask for a more reliable vehicle. It has never failed to start when I turn the key, I have only done regular maintenance to it, I've never had to do any major repairs, it has never failed me on a slick or snowy terrain, and the gas mileage is awesome.. I couldn't be any more satisfied with my 2000 Toyota Camry! I only have ONE complaint... Maintenance is expensive, i.e. brakes, rotors, oil filters, etc.... Other than that, I'm completely satisfied. When my Camry "kicks the bucket" I will gladly purchase another one..."
"I am an empty nester so looking to get a newer, smaller car. This Camry has been with me for 18 year. For 5 years, I kept it in a garage & only drove it on the weekends while living in Chicago riding the commuter train everyday. That is the reason for the lower mileage. I have maintained and recently added new suspension, belts, breaks and tires. I am not desperate to sell"
