Cons: "fit and finish -- made in KY, unfortunately."

"At 158K, this car still starts every day and gets me where I want to go. Other cars may do it faster or fancier but this Camry (like the other 2 I have owned in the past nearly 30 years) is simply phenomenally reliable and durable. In-town gas mileage for me is 23 mpg. I've gotten in the 32 mpg range on the highway."
"We bought this car from a friend 5 years ago for our daughter. It had over 200,000 miles on it. We've only done minor maintenance and it has over 265K on it now. It's been a great car for her first vehicle!!"
"My 3rd Toyota, 2nd Camry...my only complaint is that this car (garage kept) has developed two small rust spots above the windshield trim and one spot on the edge of the rear wheel well. I had my previous Camry for 12 years (1989-2001) and it had 125,000 miles when I traded it in and it had no rust at all...so that's disappointing. But the car runs very well, no major problems."
Cons: "Paint chipped off the front end so we bought a bra"

"Bought the 97 Camry in 99. It had been a rental car. Commuted 1 hour each way until 2005. Work from home from then until now in 2015 because I bought a new RAV4. It's been a faithful car. Replaced transmission & front struts in 2013 and head gasket in 2015. Other than that, just tires, brakes & oil for over 292,000."
"Purchased mine used through the dealership I work for at an unbeatable price and have driven the snot out of this car. Mine has the 2.2 Liter, 5-SFE engine with the automatic transmission, and both are up for just about anything. Hauling the family, long commutes, stop and go traffic, you name it and it'll do it. I'm most surprised by how smooth the car idles and accelerates. Most 4 cylinder cars I've driven (even brand new ones) have a small amount of vibration. Kind of like its letting you know "Hey, I'm running"... But not mine, its so quiet that there have been two instances where I tried to start it and it was already running. Trunk space is on par with new midsize sedans. Interior room is generous. The power won't snap you head back. It won't even put a smile on your face for that matter, but that's not why people buy Camry's. The simplistic nature, the easy care and maintenance, and the good feeling knowing you're driving an overbuilt car.
Mine currently has 255,000 miles with all original powertrain."
"Fast, comfortable, feel-great car. We're only giving her up because she is worn out and we hate to have her fade out on our watch. Every single time we've had her serviced, the mechanics comment about what a fun car she is."
