"I have driven Toyotas since I was 19 yrs old. Now at nearly 50, I can afford the luxury vehicles but I stick by my Toyota! I even bought my son a Corolla for his 16th birthday and a new one when he graduated with a Master's Degree from college. I convinced my husband and friends to leave behind their GMC and Cheverolet. They now drive Toyotas too!!"
"180,000 trouble-free miles. Seriously: new brake pads (once), new tires (twice), new wiper blades (three or four times) -- and that's IT for maintenance. Comfortable, cushy, great looking, great features. Wish it had a little more power, but that's a relative thing. I'm sure it will be running and looking great yet at 300,000 miles, the way it's going today! Toyota should be proud on this one!"
"I bought my 2006 Avalon with 48,000 miles and have since put on another 20,000. This car has the best combination of performance, comfort and reliability of any of the 12 cars that I have owned in the past. The only issue that I have is that the wood trim on the dash over the glove box keeps popping off. The technicians say that I need a new one for $160, which is too much for that inconvenience. I can live live that."
Cons: "I ony wish that the side mirrors would retract side way when parking my car into my garage."

"I am so very overwhelmed at the performance of my Avalon ever since I bought it in 2008. never had any problems with it. I have a very bad back and I can attest that this car was made for me, I felt so ever relaxed recently when I drove it round trip from Huntington Beach CA to Phoenix AZ."
"Nail the pedal off the line and you'll find yourself surprised at the power and must use both hands to control all the power. I'll sneak up on a BMW once in a while that wants to run away, but I'm on their rear bumper. She wants to run. Excellent road car, and mileage is excellent for a larger car @ 24 mpg."
"I love this car for it's comfort; reliability; and safety. We bought this car new and the only drawbacks are-the front brakes don't last long (although my wife drives constantly on peoples bumper); and Toyota's batteries don't last long ( get a Optima jell battery when it needs replacing)."
