Pros: "Comfortable, strong motor, fun to drive"

Cons: "Body style not my favorite"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I love almost EVERYTHING about this car - the only thing that's not perfect would be the body style. Didn't fall in love with it but did the car. It is the second Avalon I've had (loved 95 I had also)and joins family of 2 Camrys that I also own or owned. Bought this one with 50,000 miles on it 3 years ago. It drives so smooth and will "punch it Margaret" when you need it - probably close to the 0-60 in 5 second thing. I hate to get rid of it now but just updated to a 2007 with 19,000 miles. Still haven't sold it and MAY just keep it too."

Pros: "Smooth ride, comfortable, reliable under the hood"

Cons: "All the stuff that fell apart inside."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"We still own this car and love it. After 13 years, it still feels like you are riding on air when you drive. There have been some minor issues... the center console fell apart a few years ago, the handle on the driver side seat adjustment broke a few months ago, the rear speakers rattle when you listen to music, which began about six years ago, and about four years ago the driver side window began engaging and rolling down on its own randomly; the sunroof started opening on its own about a year ago. However, we have had zero trouble under the hood. No weird sounds, no transmission issues, engine is good."

"I purchased this Avalon as a used car in 2004 with 20,000 miles on it. To date it has provided 130,000 trouble free miles. Other than scheduled maintenance, I have spent a total of $75 on repairs. This is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned."

Pros: "Comfortable and reliable"

Cons: "Too pricey for light driving"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"The Avalon is an amazing car. I love the comfort and reliability. Repairs have been only normal wear and tear. Bought it new and have been able to rely on it from day one. Drove it to work (44 miles daily) for 10 years and chauffeured teens everywhere. Drove college student to and from for four years. It was a pleasure to drive. I would buy another one but price is too high for what driving I do now."

Pros: "Floaty, Great Value, Fun To Drive, Reliable"

Cons: "No Aux Port"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I've had this car for over 4 years and it is the best automotive purchase I have made to date! I bought it in 2011 with 160K on it (I know) and as such, expected some normal problems. Not one. I drove this baby TO and FROM Northern California, a combined total of 5000 miles, and didn't have a single problem with it until about 6 months ago. Even then, problems have been so minor. This is an ABSOLUTELY phenomenal car. It drives well, and retains its value nicely. If you're thinking about purchasing one of these bad boys, DO IT. You won't be sorry."

"It has 296,000 miles on it and still runs and feels like a new car. I've taken good care of it re servicing, etc. I have never "had" to take it in for a problem. You just can't go wrong with this car."
