About Toyota
Though its name and corporate offices hold ties to Japan, Toyota continues to be one of America's top car companies. This holds true despite the hot growth of Korean manufacturers like Kia and the resurgence of domestic brands including Ford and Chevrolet.

Toyota's success is due in large part to its range of vehicle offerings, many with badges that have become household names over the decades. While models such as the Toyota Supra, Toyota Celica, Toyota Tercel, and Toyota MR2 have drifted off to car heaven, automotive staples like the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry are cruising the Immortality Highway. A more recent introduction, the Toyota RAV, offers an alternative to hot sellers like the Honda CR-V and Ford Escape, and the monstrous Toyota Tundra pickup uses brute strength to battle the legendary Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado. On the opposite end of the spectrum, where fuel-efficient vehicles such as the Honda Fit and Mazda3 reside, America's top Japanese brand fills its ranks with the Toyota Yaris and Toyota Prius hybrid. Positioned somewhere near the middle are several SUVs and crossovers, among which are the Toyota Highlander and Toyota Venza.

Prices range from about $12,000 for the Toyota Yaris to more than $70,000 for a Toyota Land Cruiser.
