"Built between 2001-2006. Always Japanese built (never under licence in another country). 7 seat versions offer complete flexibility and huge cargo space for it's size. Excellent value for money and parts still readily available despite Suzuki cars pulling out of USA in 2012.3 gearbox ranges - 2wd,4wd low and 4wd high, and built on a truck chassis so no sophisticated ride on tarmac but very capable off road for an SUV and possibly the best in it's class in it's day. Japanese attention to detail and service manuals unbeatable."
Pros: "Easy to drive, shifts to four-wheel drive easily."
Cons: "no cargo net to hold groceries back"

"Bought off showroom floor. Has been an excellent vehicle. Never a problem. We've taken it to high mountain lakes as well as city driving. Right sized not oversized so it's easy driving. Back seat leg room is a little cramped but little ones fit right in. Also has a connector in back so tablets/phones can keep the kids happy and connected. Has cup holders as well as a snack compartment in back. Love this SUV!"
Cons: "seat belt is not comfortable for 7th person"

"I bought this car in 2008. The only work I have had done was the radiator tank cracked last year. I had a habit of sitting in the car with it running far to long and too often so for a ten year old car that is understandable. Reg oil changes and safe driving have my baby still running great. The street value is not as to be expected though. I paid 8,000 cash in 2008 and now could easily get 4,000 in the street. (although I have not intention of selling) KBB has it listed just over 2 grand."
"Best vehicle I ever bought for the money. When they first came out Consumer Reports bashed them. I have 299,000 miles on it with no (none!!!!!) repairs. Only now the heater is starting to give me problems. Have owned a Grand Cherokee and a Honda Pilot during this same time and the Suzuki is more fun to drive. The 4 wheel drive was great in the snow. Too bad they are no longer available in the US."
