"I have had several cars in my life and have never had a car go out so quickly, with parts that were very hard to find. Every where I call to get estimates for repairs don't work on this model. I have talked to Suzuki dealers about the verona and have been told that this is the worst mistake that Suzuki has made, that is why they only made it for like 3 or 4 years."
"We purchased this car in 2006 with about 35K miles. The look and styling of the car are very nice, and the added accessories for the price were what attracted us to the car. First, it has been a pretty reliable car for us - fortunately. We have not had any major mechanical problems with the vehicle to date, and we are approaching the 100K mark. With that said, the overall quality of this car is very very poor. The chrome on the inside door handles is peeling off, the power rear-view mirror stopped working, the ashtray won't stay closed, the stereo stopped working, the paint on the front bumper is chipping away like crazy, the paint on the back bumper is oxidizing terribly, the sunroof is not working properly, the fake wood grain trim on the console is wearing away, there is a mysterious rattle in the left rear that can't be identified, one fog light died, and if you do need a repair parts are extremely difficult to find. I have to special order oil and air filters from the auto parts store, I will need to travel over 2 hours to the closest dealership to get shocks/struts. To replace the fog lights was going to cost almost $200 since it is a dealer only part. Even the battery is hard to find and since we've gone through 3 of those in less than 100K miles, it gets to be a drain on your patience and finances. The only saving grace of this car is that it runs when we need it to and the repairs - so far - cost far less than a car payment."
