2013 Suzuki SX4

Buy one before they raise the price!

"Have had our SX4 since Dec 2006 - has about 10k miles on it. Averaging 26.4 mpg city/hwy since day 1, with about 60% of that city driving. Gets about 34 mpg on the hwy - anyone who is getting bad mileage with this car is just not driving it right. Pay attention to the mpg readout! We live in snowy Rochester NY and the 4WD works really well - push that button and this car grips and goes. Pros: the least-expensive switchable 4WD vehicle in the country. Lots of room for a relatively small car. Great mpg. Handles great. Funky styling. Typical Japanese high quality. 100k full warranty (and free lifetime oil changes at my dealer!) Cons: no center arm rest. No sun roof option. Time/temp/mpg display washes out in bright light. No vertical adjustment on driver's seat. I've owned lots of cars in the last 45+ years - this one is definitely a keeper. And it's thousands less than the equivalent Subaru/Toyota/Honda/Chevy. Eventually Suzuki is going to figure out that they priced it WAY too low - get one now before they do that. You can't go wrong with this car, especially if you need 4WD."

Best Bang For Your Buck!

"This car has been great all around. The gas mileage is not amazing but it is good for being all-wheel drive. It averages about 25mpg or better. The all-wheel is amazing in the over two feet we have had in the last month! Definitely recommend this car!"

For the price it's a very reliable, zippy AWD car!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 90,500

Pros: "Reliable, stores lots of gear in & on top of car."

Cons: "Small gas tank."

"If you have a small budget, but want a reliable commuter and weekend-type vehicle, even in snow/ice, this is it! I've driven this car for five years...in some of the worst big city traffic in the USA. This car zips and fits where other subcompacts don't. The SX4 goes through mountains with ease while hauling lots of gear inside and on the roof-top rack. I've hauled two 10-foot Liquid Logic kayaks around the Smoky Mountains. I, also, was able to haul a dining table on top and 6 dining chairs in the car...not small Ikea-style furniture either! My car hasn't needed any repairs except replacing the bulb in the passenger-side tail light (less than $5 expense). The key to a trouble-free subcompact engine is regular maintenance and oil changes every 3,000 miles."

Great Vehicle for the money.

Nice little car

"We drove Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris, Nissan Versa, Suzuki SX4, Chevy Aveo. We bought the SX4 as a 2nd car - a solid little car with a sure shifting manual transmission (automatic is available also), lots of features including ESC for a low price. Started out only getting 23 mpg, but now that it's broken in, we're getting 27-28 mpg combined city/hwy. Only problem we've had is a power window switch broke, but it was covered under warranty, so no problem. Solid on ice and snow. Fun to drive. Fits our family of five, no problem. Highly recommended."
