"I've had this vehicle for about 4 months now and I love this car! I consistently get around 35 mpg (give or take away 5 mpg) combined city/highway. Although I drive mainly streets since I live in SF I bet the mileage would've been high if I took more freeways. Anyways I think the inside looks nice nothing exciting, but I spruced the car up myself (such as chair bead, new green headliner, green seats, and led party lights on the floor lol. Anyways this car is also reliable and had no break downs or anything acting up on me. If your in the market to look for a great fuel economy or relialbility, then this is your car! =)"

"I love this car. I bought it used in 2001. It had 38,000 miles on it then. Now it has 118,000. I drove it across the country in it several times. I used it to communte in Orange County traffic. It's very reliable. All I've needed to replace were the tires, battery. timing belt and a broken window. It's got great pep, drives fast, has great mileage. I don't like driving any other cars. I don't have to worry about people stealing it. Only down side is people do make fun of it and it doesn't look that good professionally when I show up to job sites or meetings in it. There loss, they're just jealous cause I'm the one laughing at them at the gas pump and squeezing into the tight parking spots."

"I have had to replace the evaporator in the A/C every year since I have had the car because it leaked. The CV joints had to be replaced after 30,000 miles, but every thing else works fine. It has never been a problem in starting and getting me to work."

"10 years and going strong. Requires ear plugs and a lumbar support for trips over one hour but gets 40 mpg at 70 mph with A/C on a level California freeway. Almost no low end torque and the driver must row the car around town on the gear box but on the open road, between 45 and 75 mph it's in its element. Almost nothing is quicker up HWY 1 to Big Sur. Not even motorcycles. It's a pocket rocket in curvy terrain where the power slide is king."

"very good few ecomony. I get 44 mpg on the highway. I get 30 mpg city driving. This is the 1.3 with the 5 speed standard. Nice ride on the highway...........peppy engine...........only about $20 to 25 to fill the tank which is really nice..........The car seems to be easy to work on so far."
