Used Subaru Legacy Sedans

For 2013, the Legacy sedan gets a minor facelift, a stiffer suspension and upgraded radios with Bluetooth. The Limited can be equipped with Subaru's EyeSight driver assist (Pre-Collision Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning), as well as a new navigation system. Lastly, a new 2.5i Sport trim level supplants last year's 2.5GT variant.

Subaru's penchant for an abundance of trim levels continues, with seven 2012 Legacy models in total. The popular mid-level Premium models add an improved 6-speaker audio system with Bluetooth phone and wireless audio streaming plus an iPod connection. Top-tier Limited models now have standard foglights

For 2011, all Legacy models are equipped with folding side mirrors, while XM satellite radio is now standard with the available harman/kardon audio system. The 2.5 GT Limited becomes the sole turbocharged model and gains a power moonroof and fog lights as standard equipment.

New from the ground up, the 2010 Subaru Legacy gains more than three inches in width and height but only one inch in length. Subaru adds a new six-speed manual to four-cylinder models with a new CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) as an option. New features include a navigation system with rear backup camera and streaming Bluetooth capability, an electronic parking brake with a hill-holder feature and standard stability and traction control.

A new, lower priced Legacy 3.0R model is introduced for 2009, while the Legacy 3.0R Limited adds 18-inch alloy wheels to its standard equipment list. All trims but the base 2.5i Legacy receive a new harman/kardon audio system. Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) and traction control are now standard on all but the 2.5 GT with the manual transmission).

All Legacy models receive a modest exterior freshening, while the wagon models are renamed Outback, leaving only the sedans to carry the Legacy nameplate. A new trim, the 3.0 R Limited, becomes the top-of-the-line offering and features a 245-horsepower six-cylinder engine. New standard features for all Legacy models include remote keyless entry, revised dash and seat fabrics and a tilt/telescopic steering wheel.
