"Cobb Stage 1 for 10 years. White line Sway Bars. Auto crossed, and tracked. Very low maintenance, just oil, filter, changes every 5K miles. Oil analysis suggests I could easily extend the change interval to 6 or 7K miles. Recently had the 100K mile maintenance done. I love this car and will never sell it!!!"

"I bought this car new in February 2004. It has been the best car I have ever owned. It's time for a new one and I will buy the same car. I am sad and happy at the same time."

Pros: "Fun to drive, reliable, all wheel drive."

Cons: "Poor brakes, no power seats, no luxury features."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have owned my 2002 WRX since 2006. I purchased it with about 46k miles on it and the odometer just hit 208k. This car has been great! It's super fast, but also safe and reliable. I would have given it a perfect 10, but the OEM brakes are weak and I recommend upgrading them. I have had no major mechanical problems. The all wheel drive is great for snow and driving in bad weather. I would recommend the WRX and Subarus in general to anyone. I wish they would release a Luxury class vehicle with all the nice creature comforts of say a lexus or BMW. If all you're looking for is a fully customizable car with a strong bullet-proof engine, this is the one for you."

Cons: "paint,"

"The title says it all, only complaint is the paint seems weak, other than that in 110000 mile nothing but regular maintenance, never quit on me never replaced anything but a battery and wiper blades, wonderful car, wish Subaru built a real truck, I'd buy it in a heartbeat"

"Have owned this car since brand new off the lot in 2007. Eight years later, it still only requires oil changes and tires and nothing more. After living in New England for the duration, I'm convinced Subaru has the best AWD system around, second only to Audi. Never gotten stuck or stranded in winter. Never had to pay for major mechanical issues. Regular maintenance or bust. I will be buying a WRX for my next car (for those that don't know, that's the next level up in performance from the Impreza). Interior needs work, no luxury here. But you're paying for a base car that is based off a rally car and priced competitively agains even other branded used cars. For the price compared to other brands, even used, this was the best deal ever!"
