Subaru's spin on the
crossoverSUV weds the company's legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive System to a seven-passenger vehicle wrapped in a sleek shell. The B9 Tribeca is based on the Legacy/Outback platform, but features a longer wheelbase and a wider track. Unlike many
crossovers, the B9 Tribeca can actually tackle some pretty tough terrain, with over eight inches of ground clearance and an all-wheel-drive system that can route power between the front and rear wheels, depending on which set has the best traction. Although it can't tow as heavy a load as a traditional body-on-frame SUV, the B9 Tribeca does excel in the areas of passenger safety, comfort and economy.
