I own this car - My approximate mileage is 6,000

Pros: "Fun, Financially rewarding, and User Supported."

Cons: "Shopping requires shipping considerations."

less than 1/3 less filling! than my Armada..

"I thought long and hard about my driving tasks and this fit the bill with the usual suspects. Smart had the unparalleled user support, rather user fanatics and likely hood of longevity compared to the usual suspects. With the price of fuel (two year low), teacher incentives ($1000), popularity with my 10 year old daughter (best toy in the parking lot) and ZERO FINANCING FROM MERCEDES, this was a no brainer after the test drive. I'm 6'2" and I felt more cramped in my BMW 535. seriously. True the transmission takes some getting used to but it is FUN and can be fast. Quite fast enough in any situation. Win a stoplight drop with any other coupe? no. but there isn't a single SUV that can hang in the tight corners."

great for intended use.

Pros: "good price, good gas milage, ease of access"

Cons: "no spare tire, rough ride"

"Bought car to save gas while commuting to work, traveled 95 miles a day, did excellent in gas use. averaged 45 mpg highway/ 35 mpg city. milage drops when using AC. Ride is rough, interior comfort is excellent with single passenger, I am 6' 4 and had plenty of room. Two passengers can be cramped. It is easier to get into and out of then all other cars , I don't have to be a contortionist. Safety wise never had a problem winds didn't create drift (exception being the 50-60mph gusts last year) and turnpike/parkway/throughway travels never created problems. For strictly commuting and local travel this car is great for intended use. Cons to the vehicle- leave room when entering roadways, the pick-up is slow. No spare, front & rear tires are different sizes, a pump and sealant are provided if you have a flat, but that is no help with a blowout/ large puncture."

Great company car

"We have now 4 cars for our employee since 2008 . Great marketing tools and reliable car For delivery goods. Look forward the eletric smart. This was the best choice for our company. Easy to mantain ,park ,drive."

It is great for getting around

Pros: "Fun, 40+ mpg, 9 gallon tank, roomy"

Cons: "only two seats, need to pay for the add ons"

"Let's start by saying this car is not for everyone, it is a great commuter car. We have no problem getting around with 40+ mpg, a lot of head room and just plain fun to drive. I recommend this car for a more experienced driver. Not because it is unsafe but because you really need to be aware of your surroundings. The car is small and you really need to pay extra attention to other cars or trucks around you. It does move around a bit on the freeway but no problem for the experienced driver. It is not a race car and it takes about 500 miles to get use to the electronic shifting. It has both automatic and manual shifting (less the clutch pedal). Overall, great car, great price, and yes only for two people at a time."

Pros: "Great car for the price. Fun and easy to drive"

Cons: "Must drive defensively - not the best ride"

"I bought this car over 2 years ago to save gas. I make a 6 hour round trip twice a month. I liked it so much I got one for my daughter in college. Really neat features like heated seats and climate control is a plus. Seats are comfy but ride can be rough and shifting may take getting used to. I drive this more than any other car I own including twin turbo BMW 135 and 2SS Camaro! Not a luxury car but gets the job done and power is not that bad. You will feel the wind on the road but overall it is a great little go cart with comfort and cheap to own and drive. Never had a problem with either one."
