"Great little around town car fuel efficient, roomy and zippy! Not really made for long road trips, no cruise control. Have owned it for 8 years only put in new battery just normal maintaince. I have been looking at new cars haven't found any that would be any better."

"I bought my Scion XA new in 2004, since then I have chalked up over 150k miles on it and the only thing I have needed to do to it apart from regular oil and fluid checks, was replace the water pump 3 years ago. The cabin is a little loud and the shocks make you feel every bump in the road, but apart from that it has been very reliable, and fun to drive all these years."

"You get what you pay for,and considering the money spent for this car,you can do no better. So far the only thing I have done to this car is change the oil and put new tires on it. Has never left me stranded. I would buy another in a heartbeat."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 101,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Sleek Look with Great Gas Mileage"
Cons: "Not A Family Car Sadly"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I love this car beyond belief!!! Averages 30 mpg which is great for commuting in this economy. So easy to drive for me (I'm a shorty) bc it has no blind spots. My husband is also over 6 ft tall and drives it with ease (it's higher inside then you would think). Great quality inside and out! Loved that it had AUX and IPOD ports so I could listen to music from my phone or ipod! I've had it for 3 1/2 years and the only reason we're trading it in is bc we now have two babies and a bull mastiff. Not enough room now for the family but would highly recommend it. I've NEVER once had a problem and will buy from Toyota again bc of it."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 38,000

Cons: "They don't make the xA model anymore :("

"I bought my 2006 Scion xA brand new in 2006. I paid $14,400 for it. Today, over 6 years later, my car is still worth over $10,000. Add to that the fact that it has never needed a single repair and I think it's pretty safe to say you really get your money's worth with a Scion. They are made by Toyota and I will never leave the Toyota family. I could not be happier with my purchase. I will never understand why people pay $20,000 or more for American-made cars when they can get a much more reliable car for much less money. Did I mention the gas mileage??? I've gotten over 40mpg if I drive conservatively. I think the least I've ever gotten was 30mpg in horrible traffic. It averages about 35mpg with city and highway driving. My 2006 Scion xA has a great Pioneer audio system which came standard, a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine which has taken me on many roadtrips with no problems (and no stopping for gas), and tons of head and leg room for such a small car. I drove my friend's Chevy Cobalt once and my head was touching the ceiling. I have plenty of room in my Scion. Overall, it is an awesome car; I highly recommend it."
