Pros: "AWD is actually good and 18 mpg is also big plus"

Cons: "horrible sound system. unreliable. poorly built."

"If you love spending money on a car then this is the vehicle for you! Changing the water pump and timing belt 3 times is for sure a big joy! Especially since each time costs roughly $600. Gotta love the serpentine belt and harmonic ballencer because those were replaced too. No leaks susurprisingly except for a very very small oil leak. Its a pain to drive thanks to the bad bushings and coil springs which make the loudest squeak ever when turning. It hesitates to switch gears sometimes which scares me a lot while driving but hey its a Saturn! DON'T get this car. Im trying to get rid of it ASAP."

"Have had car since new. Have actually owned 7 Saturns and would continue to do so except.............. This car has been low maintenance, rides well and has been very reliable. If we hadn't replace my VW bug convertible with a Subaru Forester last year, we'd keep this car."

Pros: "Good gas mileage, fast, comfortable, dependable"

Cons: "Seats stain easily"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I bought this car brand new. The only problem I've ever had with it was the ignition. I've had to have it replaced. It wasn't in the recall tho. This car still has excellent get up and go just as when it was new. The body still looks new other than small scratches from general use. The ONLY thing I don't like is the seats stain VERY easy. It's just been a great dependable car. Also, this model has a Honda engine. That was a selling point for me. In nine years, not a single engine problem."

Pros: "Reliable, no rust body panels!, well equipped"

Cons: "Funky all wheel drive, not as fast as some"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"For the most part, a very good vehicle. I bought it new and took good care of it yet drove it for the purpose I bought it for... commuting to work, hunting, fishing, camping, and trailer towing. I put some money in it over the past few (out of 12) years but considering the miles, it doesn't owe me anything. If they still made the VUE I'd buy another. Looking at an Equinox in fact."

Pros: "All wheel drive, spaceous, interior and exterior!"

Cons: "Gas mileage and exhaust system."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought my saturn vue at a dealership for 112,000 miles on it. My parents thought it was a terrible idea. We test drove the car and it had some shakyness to it and a thumping sound in the back but I loved it so I bought it for a low price. I drove it for a year and a half, got my regular oil changes and it was fine!Had to replace the wheel bearings in the back of the car. Also had to replace the exhaust system and it started to have some electrical issues and probably needed to get the exhaust fixed again at 125,000 miles but it was still driveable. It wasn't the best on gas but it wasn't the worst either! I had to get rid of it after I totaled it and I cried because I absolutely loved the car and was so sad to see it go!It could have drove probably for a couple more years! My neighbor has the same one with 160,000 miles on it! They last forever! I recommend it to anyone!"
