A V6 hybrid model using GM's 2-Mode Hybrid drive will arrive in 2009, becoming the second hybrid model in the Vue lineup. Saturn has dropped the Green Line name and now simply calls its hybrid the Vue Hybrid. New features on all Vue trims include standard Panic Brake Assist, available Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity and OnStar 7.2 with Directions and Connections download direct to navigation screen.
Launched in model year 1991, the Saturn brand was conceived by GM to lure away lucrative import shoppers. Nineteen years later, there finally is an entire lineup capable of doing just that. The 2009 Saturn Vue, and its high-mileage offspring the Vue Hybrid, is the fourth of five recently added vehicles that have totally reformed Saturn's showroom floor in a relatively short time span. The Vue's bold styling and rich interior might represent key victories in the battle for the hearts and minds of the buyers that have made the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 best sellers in one of the hottest segments in the market.

"I own a 09' redline and have had ZERO problems! I bought this car because I used to fix them. I was a Saturn tech in Jacksonville, FL for the last 4 years (I had to quit working on cars due to medical reasons). Let me start by saying DO NOT BUY THE 4CYL MODELS!! The vehicle is too heavy and under powered! Same goes for the HYBRID, if you want your car in the shop 24/7 then buy the HYBRID! OK now that that’s out of the way! The XR and Redline with the 3.6L V6 is GREAT! The first thing you should do when you take it in for service the first time is ask if there are any SERVICE BULLITINS THAT PERTAIN TO YOUR VEHICLE. This should clear up most of the problems from the factory. once this is done, the only problems that we see are with the radios and A/C control heads. The radio problems are a hit and miss and are a problem with the radio head itself and can only be replaced as a unit. The A/C control head problem has been resolved and the new control head that will be installed has no known problems. That’s really it! One last thing, install aftermarket accessories at your own risk! They can cause electrical faults, noise, water entry into the cabin, and ultimately ruin your vehicle!"

"I bought my 2008 Red Line in Feb. 08. I was attracted to Saturn because of members in my family telling me of the quality of the vehicle. One feature that it did not have was the sunroof, which I had installed. Then I started noticing more and more moisture inside the vehicle (was not the sunroof). The factory did not install a couple of plugs inside the framework of the vehicle, allowing the water from the road and tires to enter the vehicle. The whole inside of the vehicle was wet up to the back seats. While the vehicle is beautiful and handles well, I am still not getting the gas mileage advertised on the sticker. I am lucky to be getting 12 MPG (AWD/3.6L). I should be getting at least 18-20 with combined highway/city driving. The vehicle has been to the dealer twice now due to water problem and now electrical problems. I found that the dealer/Saturn has new software updates for the vehicle that were not installed at the factory or the dealer. So much for paying $600 for dealer prep. I just hope this message is read by others if you notice moisture in the vehicle or problems with your electronics. It will save you some headaches later. For the price that I paid ($34,000), I should of bought either the Edge or a KIA. Both of those handled better, with the same or better power, and a lower price."
