I own this car - My approximate mileage is 85,000
overall rating 6 of 10rating detailsPros: "Economy Avg 33mpg up to 40, cheap price"
Cons: "ride quality, comfort, frequent issues"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 2
"I purchased my Saturn SL for my long commute and to save a little on gas. This has been okay but it's had some pretty weird issues. First, the car leaks from the window seals and around the driver door (surprisingly the sunroof doesn't leak). Second, the engine has used 2 quarts since I purchased it. Now it uses nearly 3. Third, the car is now leaking a fluid from under the dash that can't be identified. On the positive side it has gotten between 30 and 40mpg (40 while driving 70mph). The car is not ugly but feels kind of plain (mine has a spoiler and sunroof) could've used some nice touches like a pin stripe. Back on the subject of driving, the car is okay on the highway but very jittery and moves with the wind. I'm 6'3" and its not very easy to climb in and out of for me. My commute has now been cut down considerably and I will definitely be getting a larger vehicle."

"I bought this car from my brother and have nothing bad happen to it just regular maintenance and keep an eye on the oil cause it does eat it. Design fla from the manufacture. I get mid 40's in the summer and mid 30's in the winter."

"I have had her for almost 10 years (May)!!! Had a fluke with a pin letting loose in the differencial but other than that the usual maintenance costs. She is the BEST CAR I EVER OWNED!!!!!!!! Now we know why GM got rid of the Saturn!!!! Oh by the way she gets 35 mph now----she did get 38 mph but she is older and a standard shift. I LOVE MY SATURN!!!!!!!!!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 140,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "great gas mileage; doesn't dent; very affordable"
Cons: "no power steering"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8
"This is just a solid, basic car. Solid because it's reliable, dependable and gets better gas mileage than my previous honda civic. I want to say I grew to love this car, but it is basic, and not much power going up hills. Everything is manual, and unfortunately no power steering. If you are used to that, this would be kinda hard to get used to. I've owned it for over 5 years, from 95,000-140,000 miles, and I was thinking about selling it, but because I wouldn't get very much, I'm planning on keeping it because it is such a good car. And, I'll probably donate it when I can't drive it anymore."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 71,000
overall rating 8 of 10rating detailsPros: "Good Gas Mileage, Fun to Drive, Low Maintenance"
Cons: "Stiff Ride, Noisy Factory Exhaust"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8
"This car was a hand me down, but it has held up well and is one of the most economical cars I have owned. It is easy to maintain and there are a lot of aftermarket parts available if you want to install custom performance modifications."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 100,115
overall rating 6 of 10rating detailsPros: "Awesome gas mileage"
Cons: "No leg room."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I had very few problems with this car. Great on gas... average 40 mpg highway and 32/34 city mpg. Not very comfortable for long car rides, and there is very little leg room in the back. Love the rear split seats and power moon roof."
