"we have had this car for 13 years in michigan weather and rolled over 390,000 miles. the car has only had the spark plug wires, and a $300 front end repair since bought brand new. it is the most reliable car we could have ever wished to own. it drives good and has almost no rust it has been driven year round including winter with salty roads"

Pros: "great gas mileage and plenty of room."

Cons: "not a very good luxury vehicle."

"Its never left me stranded anywhere. It may not look that great on the outside but dont' let that fool you. There is a hardly noticable scratch on the passenger side and the hood is a different color but its also not too noticable. I has great heat, air may need to be charged once every summer. Once its charged its very cold and works great. I have no problem taking it long distances. It would make the perfect car for a 1st time driver or someone who drives far away for work."

Pros: "good performance, reliability and interior quality"

Cons: "3 ps pumps before 70,000, none since"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought this car when it was a brand new model. It has been extremely reliable and has a powerful 4 cylinder motor and automatic transmission. When I first took it out for a test drive I was surprised to learn that it was a 4 cylinder and not a 6 cylinder. I have carried 4 adults and driven up freeway grades with no problems. The interior still looks brand new. I have repainted the exterior two times because of oxidation. This car has never been parked inside. I get 30 mpg on the freeway at 70-75 mph. It can be towed behind a motorhome with no alterations to the driveline. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone interested in a reliable used car."

Pros: "reliable, sturdy, comfortable"

Cons: "nothing exciting about it, pedals undersensitive"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I had this car from 79k miles until 125k miles (now). I never once had anything break on it, except I replaced the battery when I first got it and kept puncturing my tires. It got decent gas mileage, was comfortable, and had plenty of room. The brake and gas pedals weren't overly sensitive, which was nice for me, but it threw other people for a loop since you have to press down further than other cars. I would still be driving it except I crashed it. :-("

Pros: "great price, reliability, mileage, comfort"

Cons: "discontinued"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"4 door car that is heavier than the original Saturns, so it rides better. It floats less than the original Saturns on ice and snow (this matters in 1/2 the US, anyway). It gets good gas mileage and rides quietly with decent acceleration. The features make for a comfortable ride on short or long trips. It's not a BMW, but it will get you from here to there with lots of room for you and your stuff. My father-in-law is 6'6" and does fine in it. Bummer that GM couldn't stick with the winners."
