1998 Saab 9000

Blessed to have a 9000 Aero as my first car!

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 225,000

Pros: "extremely fun to dirve, coin case with cup holder"

Cons: "Gets around 20 MPG but still worth it"

"The car itself gives a great personality to the driver as well for having a different car apart from the Mainstream Toyota, Kia, Ford, etc. The seats are more comfortable than my bed. The performance is unbelievable and is reliable when needed at most. My father was a SAAB mechanic at Sweden and he even agreed that the 9000 is the safest SAAB created in the time due to its 5 star rating of protection , air-bag deployment or the metal cage around to protect roll-overs. I recommend this car to anyone who wants to have a fun time along with safe needs"

Drives Great! Great gas mileage

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 124,000

Pros: "Gas Mileage, Comfortable interior, smooth drive"

Cons: "Higher cost to maintain"

"I love this car! Best thing i have ever owned. Note - Does cost more to maintainbut if you find the right tech it is worth it. There arent many saab owners out there but when you com across one it is a code to just smile.... "We driving saabs" This car is excellent i plan on upgrading to a newer edition when the time is right"

Have had 2 of these they were both great cars

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 163,000

Pros: "great sporty family car.handles exceptionally well"

Cons: "no glove compartment"

"Can't believe getting 30 mpg easily on a trip with a/c on. The best I could get with the 900's we have owned was about 26 mpg. The 9000 is bigger, heavier and better overall but is more economical than the 900."

I love my Saab

Pros: "A lot of fun to drive,quality performance vehicle"

Cons: "No stock cup holders"

Not mine but most accurate picture I could find online, this one os black as opposed to green.

"The key word here is QUALITY, turbo is great. Awesome milage, I use it to commute and have never spent as little money on gas (then again I had a V6 89 Nissan Maxima before). I enjoy the simple things in life and the luxury of this car is something I appreciate daily. Super comfortable and nice, leather interior, heated seats, wood paneling, roomy backseat, big trunk.... This car drives sooo smooth, it's a lot of fun, fast and handles very well. The only real complain I have which is not an actual complain because I've adapted...no glovebox, which is true for a good amount of other Saab models, there is a center console however which takes care of my glovebox needs. Also, no cup holders, but Saab sells cup holders that attach to the compartments on the inner door. I was recently hit by another driver, it's totaled. This car's engine performs so nicely and it has been so reliable for me that I am investing the money to have it taken out and put into another Saab."

Low Reliability

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 145,000

Pros: "Leather Seats"

Cons: "EVERYTHING ELSE! 2 cup holders! no glove box!"

"I have owned it for about a month now and it just broke down out of the blue after the electronics went out and the power steering... but i guess thats what you can expect from a Euro car."

An honor to own

Pros: "Solid handling, quick, reliable, fun, classy."

Cons: "Lacks cup holders."

"I've had this car for five years and it has been one the best investments of my life. She is solid as a rock and never falters in her reliability. The car is fun, nimble, classy, reliable, and posses the character that so many other cars lack."
