The 2012 Ram 1500's strong suit over comparably-equipped competitors can be found in the way it drives and rides. Thanks to an advanced coil-spring rear suspension and solid rear axle, the Ram 1500 seems to absorb bumps and distortions that cause other trucks to hop about. Trucks with a traditional leaf-spring rear suspension setup tend to ride harshly and can even experience bounding motions over ruts and uneven pavement. "I have always been a GM guy. I bought this Ram because it was sitting next to a GMC just like it. Theywere the same year, same color, same tires, wheels, options, and you get the point. The GMC was more expensive with 10k more miles. It did not accelerate as well or get as good mpg. The Ram has a rougher ride and with only a 5 speed transmission I was worried at first would not keep up with the GM. It was faster, better acceleration, and just overall more power. I may never buy another GM if Ram keeps getting better. Finally, the Ram Boxes are a must. you can put anything in them. They will work as a cooler and hold water or like extra storage for your 6 shotguns when you go hunting."

"Had a ford ecoboost it was a eco wimp Not all what it is made out to be also I owned a tundras 5.7 before I purchased the ford gas hog and no guts above 70 mph when towing. Just bought this ram sport hemi. Rides better than ford. And smells and towes better than the junk tundra and ford. dodges are getting better watch out usa trucks And junk yotas"
