Pros: "Great value, practical, comfortable"

Cons: "Slow to get up speed"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought this car used a year ago mainly for a commuter car and I've ended up driving it more than my other car for everything. I've only drove sedans and a very small hatchback before so this is space galore for me. It has very responsive handling as far as steering and braking which is important to me. What's weird is when I bought it, it looked like a new car and now it still looks good. I don't garage it or hardly ever wash it and it still looks...clean. My vibe is a maroon color. Being a toyota fan, I like how it has a reliable toyota engine, but in my opinion looks better than the matrix. It's so practical and such a great value for the money. It was a great find. The only thing I wish is that it had a little more get up and go. It doesn't have any problems at fast speeds after it gets going though."

Pros: "worth every penny I paid, great commute car,"

Cons: "O2 sensor expensive"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I paid $12K for a one-year old 2005 with 32K miles. I purchased this mainly for my job, I fold the back seats down and carry parts, tools and supplies. Plenty of room. I perform routine maintenance every 5K miles and schedule maintenance for the cooling system. I perform most tune ups myself, so far no leaks or other major problems. The only problem I've had is replacing the O2 sensor with a auto parts store replacement and still getting false enging codes. I was told by the dealer the manufacturer's part is more tuned for that car (of course) and it's very expensive. Other than that 233,000 miles later no major work needed! A little noisier than most cars inside and a few rattles from loose trim are my only negatives. It still gets 31-33 mpg around town and highway. Take care of it and it takes care of you."

Very good, reliable car.

Pros: "This Toyota in GM clothes has been a very good car"

Cons: "Have to use GM for recall work"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"This Toyota in GM clothes has been everything I expected. Aside from one problem that left me stranded due to GM not having recall parts available this car has been as reliable as I expect a Toyota to be. Very good fuel economy as well as lots of room for cargo. If it didn't carry a GM moniker I would enthusiastically recommend this vehicle to a friend."

Pros: "Great bang for the buck"

Cons: "Not fast or fancy"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9

"I have owned my 2006 Pontiac Vibe since new. I've owned 7 cars in my lifetime, and this is the first that I can say I've encountered NO issues with. It's been a joy to own. It's not fancy or fast, but it starts right up every time, gets great gas mileage, and has been an outstanding return on my investment."

Pros: "it's a wonderful car for anybody."

Cons: "they don't make them anymore."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Reliable, can get 2 live Christmas trees in it with the seats down, goes like a little tank in the snow. Still has the ORIGINAL brakes and they are still good now 10 years of driving it. Great gas mileage, comfortable for a short person, good visibility, I love this little car."

Pros: "No problems at all in 8 years daily driving."

Cons: "'A' piller design blocks too much view."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"1st time for me that the muffler & pipes have lasted beyond 400,000. Excellent highway cruising rpm. Since this now deleted GM car that is part Toyota Matrix, I asked GM to provide a Chevy replacement. And the Trax is the next best vehicle."
