"I bought my 2002 pontiac in 2009 in Tacoma WA. it had 114000 miles on it, I drove this car cross country in 3 1/2 day's. and on more road trips from NC to MA then I can even remember, threw mountains deserts snow blizzards and soo much more. Never had any problems with the engine or transmission. Had to replace the fuel pump a few years ago, and the alternator and belt. Other then that just regular stuff tires breaks fan. I drive this car over 2 hours ever week day with no problems. I calculated on a clear highway driving straight for an hour I get 37 mpg. Only complaints I have are minor interior issues. The vent plastic breaks I replaced them they broke again, the seatbelt gets stuck and I cant pull it out on the passenger side. The trunk shift out of line and doesn't always like to close. The door siding in the rear driver side pops out of place along with the back seat doesn't snap firmly into place. But none of that changes my opinion on this car, it has carried me and my family from state to state and never left us stranded or lost. Just now at 195K miles I think the starter is having issue but nothing solid on that yet. Love this car."
"I've owned this car for 6 1/2 years/since it had 112,000 miles on it. This car has taken me everywhere including icy roads, dirt roads, off road.. And has always done great. The power steering fluid needs refilled about every month but does not leak on the ground whatsoever. 4 mechanics cannot figure out where this stuff is going. Someone had rewired some things under the hood including the fan, which has not worked for almost a year. I should have had that fixed but my car has not blown up yet. I wish this car would last another 6 years but I continue to slowly dismantle the exterior:... bumper gone, fender bent, dents in the sides, rear window busted out, passenger mirror gone.. But still this car has been great. 9 out of 10"
"Inspected until February of 2016.Brakes changed in March 2015. The engine, interior are in great condition. Tires are all weather and passed inspection, have tread that's good. New front springs 2015 (Kittanning's fine potholes that you cant avoid streets! The body has minor surface rust and minor ding. Sunroof (sliding) works well. Back seat lies down, plenty of transport room. Very sleek and sporty car that is a good running dependable ride!"
"I PURCHASED MY 2003 SUNFIRE IN APRIL OF 2004. I JUST TURNED OVER 200,000 MILES A FEW MONTHS AGO. THE ONLY MAJOR THING I HAVE REPLACED IS THE FUEL PUMP WHICH WAS UNDER WARRANTY. THIS CAR AND I HAVE BEEN THRU A LOT AND IT HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN AND NOW I WILL BE PASSING IT OFF TO MY CHILDREN. LOVE MY SUNFIRE....WISH PONTIAC WAS STILL AROUND."
