I own this car - My approximate mileage is 301,000
overall rating 7 of 10rating detailsPros: "Still gets me and my family around."
Cons: "Doesn't have cruise and is starting to rust out"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 4
"The car isn't bad. It is starting to rust out and it's exhaust is loud, due to a hole before the catalytic converter. It isn't an ideal family car being a coupe. The fuel economy is good. I wouldn't recommend it if your looking for a more comfortable and roomy vehicle, it isn't roomy nor is it a great family car. It will get you to your destination and even if it breaks down, parts a cheap and at every scrap yard."

I owned and sold this car - My approximate mileage is 160,000
overall rating 5 of 10rating detailsPros: "Sporty fun"
Cons: "Unreliable"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 4
"This was my first car. It was so much fun. Sporty, red, convertible, cheap to buy, good on gas. I could not have been happier with a first car. That being said it was terribly unreliable. It spent a lot of time dead in my driveway. I did not abuse this vehicle in anyway. I gave it oil changes and tune ups as often as one should. It overheated often and the head gaskets blew. I eventually scrapped it. The top leaked always and the back window fell out. It never saw 170k:( But it was fun and I would recommend it as a first car. Maybe buy it with lower miles if you can."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 487,946
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "manual shifting =] and the entire car"
Cons: "front cup holder is small and in the way"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"this car, what not to say about how great it is and easy to work with!! it still to this day has never left me stranded. i keep my vehicle very well maintained. with regualar tune up, and diagnosis of issues and fixing the small problem before it becomes a major problem, but all in all this car still drives amazingly well. when racing on the streets we always dust those little "ricers" and we're never the ones on the side of the road. if you learn your vehicle it will never let you down =] Pontiac Power!!!"

"We bought this car in 2009 in the midwest with 12,000 Original miles on it,garage kept and never seeing the rain or winter weather. The car was a one owner (senior owned)since new. The car looks amazing and it is only driven on sunny days and is garage kept from October to May. It's great to own this car and so nice to have in my garage anytime i have the need for top down fun. I get alot of complemenets on the car and many folks can't believe that the car is 13 years old because it looks brand new.The Sunfire GT will be a great can for us for years to come."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 125,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsPros: "Reliable, cheap, fun to drive"
Cons: "Small on inside, not very comfortable"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"I've had this car for about 5 years and have driven it from 67K miles to now 125K miles. It's extremely reliable and gets around well in the winter time despite being a stick shift. It's pretty quick about getting up and going and has never left me stranded anywhere, not once. Has always started up quick and still does. I dread selling this car someday because it has a lot of sentimental value to me and has been a VERY good car. It's GM so the parts are cheap and easy to replace. The only major problem I've had with it is that the water pump had a crack in it which cost $500 but other than that just usual wear and tear items(spark plugs, oil, O2 sensors, TP sensor, wiper blades, etc). I can not tell you how much I recommend this car. It still has yet to rust and it's been outside its WHOLE life. I'm pretty impressed by it and it still ceases to amaze me the things it can do. It'll crawl through fields to get to a lake, conquer steep hills without breaking cruise. It'll do anything! Rating:10"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 180,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fun, comfortable, and easy to drive."
Cons: "Tiny cup holder- in the front."
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 9
"It was my first, and has been a pleasure to drive. I have probably spent more time in it than anywhere else and I have slept in at least once a week just because I can. I have been going thru separation anxiety just thinking about needing to move on, but alas Boogs is now in car retirement."
