"I have owned this car for a lot of years now and have had little to no problems. My husband has gone through two cars and a truck - having had minor to major repairs - but my little Sunfire is still ruling the roads! Too bad such a good, reliable car has been discontinued. I will just have to drive this one until it won't drive anymore. Finding a coupe is nearly impossible these days also."
Pros: "fun to drive, looks sporty, great gas mileage"

"I have owned this car for 15 years and can't imagine driving anything else. It is fast and handles extremely well. It will stop on a dime and can steer around unexpected objects without loss of control in a split second. I keep it clean and the oil changed and it has never let me down. Wouldn't dream of owning any other car."
"I bought my Sunfire in 2009. It had 128,000 miles. I have used it as a daily driver with a long commute to work (36 miles one way) and it has never left me sitting one time. We have not done a thing to it aside from regular maintenance. I will buy another Pontiac when I get rid of this one. Highly recommended."
"This is such a great car. I never want to sell it. It looks much more expensive than it is. It is so much fun to drive with the top down. It gets great gas mileage. Very comfortable. Also very practical. Great cargo space and back seat for a sporty convertible. I put the top down and use it like a pickup trick too. We used it in our wedding."
"This car has been absolutely reliable, other than a few minor things this car has held up its end of the deal for the last 16 years. The Pontiac Sunfire made my life easy with its easy driving and good handling I'm very satisfied with it and wish Pontiac was still around to make another one!"
"This little Car has won my respect. I bought it in 2011/2012 and other than the maintenance I had to do from neglect of previous owner it has been the strongest little car I have ever owned. It has the quad 4 engine which only 15% of this year had. I have drove this car from Indianapolis Indiana to West Virginia on a half of a tank of fuel. (APPROX 7.5 gallons of fuel on a 6 hour drive) I have also driven From Indianapolis Indiana to Massachusetts and back with NO problems. Pontiac did great with this vehicle."
