Pros: "Space, AWD, body style, ok gas mileage"

Cons: "Terrible fabric choice, some issues with autodoor"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This van has been wonderful we love it. It has AWD which maked changing from a subaru to a van comfortable for our skiing family. The sound system is wonderful, kids love the DVD player and that it hooks up to the game system for the LONG road trips. The gas mileage isnt wonderful due to the AWD but it is ok at about 18-20mpg. There have not been any major engine issues just normal scheduled issues. The fabric is terrible!!!! I hate how easily it stains, water has left spots on it that I cannot clean off, because cleaning it would take water ;-). The van does everything VERY comfortably for this family of four even when we add teammates or friends to the ride."

Pros: "reliable, efficient, size, gas mileage"

Cons: "rusted rocker panels, noisy"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"We have owned our Montana for 10 years and have only had regular maintenance expenses. We have changed the oil regularly. We have driven this vehicle in town and on the interstate, and have never had an issue with breakdowns, overheating, etc. We've regularly gotten 22mpg for fuel economy. I've looked at the vehicle history and ratings of the Montana and they haven't been favorable - but we totally disagree with the other ratings. Maybe we got an exception to the norm or maybe the other raters were more critical."

Pros: "excellent value"

Cons: "New cars have more technology but few great pluses"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"The Montana has been a reliable workhorse for our family for carting around grandchildren and hauling materials. The engine and drive train are excellent and predictable. The power and maneuverability are reasonable for a minivan. Our roads are tough on front ends of any car, and ours held up well until about 90k, when we did a front end overhaul. Still good and useful. Not meant to be a head turner it is actually pleasing to us."

A luxury van that needs some rust repair.

Pros: "Comfortable. Great for big family."

Cons: "Needs rust repair on hatch back and undercarriage."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"This is a luxury van with only 99,000 miles! The only drawback is rust on rear hatch and undercarriage (new AC / brakes) - leather (removable) seats. DVD player does not work. Classy and comfortable."

Pros: "Terrific value in many ways"

Cons: "you won't want to ever give it up"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"My 3rd van like this. I hate to give it up. I get excellent mileage, can haul anything anywhere, ease of taking the seats in & out is great, handling is awesome especially for the size. I'd buy another just like it if they were still making them. Love the leather bucket seats front & middle, visibility is great. If I can't sell it for the right price I'll keep it, it's worth it to me."
