Pros: "Supercharged V6, Reliability, Leather, Sunroof."

Cons: "Tight back seat, could use better materials."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought my 2004 Grand Prix GTP about 2 years ago with about 54,000 miles on it and now have close to 80,000 miles on it. I'm very happy and surprised by this car. Ive never owned a GM vehicle before and this one is pretty good. I love the 3.8 Supercharged V6, leather seats, sunroof and satellite radio. The interior could have used some better materials but that was kind of par for the course for early 2000's GM cars. In my opinion a much nicer car than Impala of that time. I just wish the back seat was more usable. For the most part unless its super windy of course, the wind and road noise is kept in check. The only major grip i had is that the former owner didn't change the coolant when they were supposed to. So i had to get the engine manifolds changed out. Oh, and one more thing. The car takes the curves pretty darn well."

One of the best cars that I have owned

Pros: "reliable, great value for the money, large trunk"

Cons: "legroom in the back due to larger trunk"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Bought this car with 158 miles on it. Daily, highway commuter 108 miles round trip. This car hums along at 75 without issue. Plenty of power and good body lines, it is a great value if you want a good looking, reliable, mid size car. First tranny failed at 156K. Rebuilt tranny and installed new torque convertor. Second torque convertor failed at 240K. Third torque convertor started to fail at 260K which is when I traded it in. I have reason to believe that the installer damaged the third convertor during installation. I've owned many cars, and this has been one of the best."

Pros: "See the above for the fun to drive."

Cons: "Could use a little more leg room in the back."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I have driven this car for 12 years, it's own by my wife. The beauty of this car is best described by taking it out on the open road. get it up to 85 mph and take a curve. Just hold the wheel and guide it and feel the car track that curve exactly as it did when it was brand new. You have to do it to believe me. I remember the old commercial with the Eskimo talking about the way Grand Prix tracks. Car commercials tend to exaggerate but not with a Grand Prix. I do bring it to the dealer every 3,000 miles to change the oil and filter, so obviously that helps. I would recommend this car in a heart beat, its the best car I ever owned and I'm 83."

Pros: "A great drive"

Cons: "Service parts are costly."

"I absolutely love this car! Handles beautifully. Comfortable and aa smooth quiet ride. Wish Pontiac still existed as I would buy this car again . Down side is that because it is essentially A race car, all service requiring replacement parts is more costly than a regular car. (Probably double in price)."

Very good and reliable car for the money.
