"One Owner before me and I drive it just enough to keep all fluids flowing etc. My girlfriend signed it over to me when she got a new vehicle. She bought it new and drives...well like a nice grandmother. This car is really in great shape. I just have to many vehicles for one home."
"I bought this car in 2009 with 130000 miles on it. It now has 182000, and still runs like brand new. The 3800 Series II is bulletproof, and runs forever. I've taken it to Florida and back twice, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again, even with the mileage. The performance shift option is appealing, and I love the feeling of the supercharger kicking in. This car is faster than most new cars being manufactured today. 240 horsepower and 280 torque? That's amazing for such an affordable vehicle. Also, the heads up display which shows all your gauge info on the windshield, is a great idea that was way ahead of its time. I work for Audi, and they are just beginning to bring that idea back. This thing is dependable too. I definitely recommend."
Pros: "Excellent gas mileage (best was 33mpg one trip)"
Cons: "Turning radius was limited."

"I have owned a number of Pontiacs and have loved every one of them. The sporty look of my last Grand Prix made me a proud owner and loved every minute behind the wheel. Was extremely sad to see the Pontiac brand go the way of the Oldsmobile. When I was in the market for a new vehicle (Equinox LTZ), I bequeathed my Grand Prix to my grandson. It's still going strong to this day."
Cons: "issues with windows and heating and cooling"

"I can honestly say this has been the best car I have ever owned ! my car has hit a 300+ lb deer and it still runs like nothing has happened to it ! I love my car and would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone."
"My family bought me a 1998 Grand Prix GTP 2 door coupe my first year in college. WOW what a good looking car! Gold with a Black stripe my Frat. colors. This car was a head turner. I would get many complements on car. I kept the car super clean and when the sun would hit that gold color it looked unreal. The GTP package was mind blowing and very fun to drive. This car had great pick up and zip. The inside was very nice with many buttons to play with, I loved showing the car off. The 2 door coupe had plenty of space although the back seat was kind of tight but I never really got any complaints about it. The gas was not good at all but with that big engine we know the car would be bad on gas. I had the car for 12 years the only reason I got rid of the car is that we had a baby and needed a 4 door car. Sold that car to a family member and he kept the car another 4 years. The car lasted 16 years total you can't get much better then that. The car would have lasted longer if it wouldn't have been totaled out. I really loved the car when I had it. Very dependable never left me stranded any where. Sorry that Pontiac stop making cars because this on was a beast!"
"My mother was the original owner and gave it to me at about 20,000 miles a few years ago. Despite regular maintenance it somehow ran out of transmission fluid and the transmission had to be replaced. The brake pads, rotors, wheel hubs, tie rods, thermostat and intake manifold gasket have also been replaced. At 58,000 miles the car now drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor and will do 140 mph. In my opinion it still looks better than most cars on the road. I am thrilled to own it. I just don't understand why my friend's 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan,at 200.000 miles, is worth $4,000 more."
