"My Pontiac Grand Prix was my very first car, and let me tell you, it was an amazing choice. Monty (the affectionate nickname I gave him) is a very dependable car. My first two winters in Wisconsin, I spent more time crashing into snow banks then I did on the actual roads. But every time I crashed, Monty was able to pull himself out. Very good on gas mileage, doesn't cost much to fill up even when gas prices are outrageous. all in all, a very wonderful first car for any high school student, or college kid on a budget."
"Pontiacs run hot, so I've been thru many water pumps, a radiator and the AC doesn't work - but everything else does.I drive this car 200 miles a week and I don't see any of these cars on the road.I have always liked the lines/looks of this car and now it's the last of an extinct breed."
"This is a fantastic car when properly taken care of. Plenty of power and grippy handling. Ive owned my GP for 4 years now and havent had a single problem with it even after the 25,000 miles I've put on it. Starts right up hot or cold, rain or shine. This would be a great first car for a learning driver also. I get lots of turned heads and complements when I go out in it."
"Smooth, quiet, reliable. I do wish I had mud flaps as the black finish, still in remarkable conditon, muddies up. And that it surprisingly still had a cassettle player in it is a drawback, but something I can take care of. I expect to be able to sell it after driving it for years without a mishap (some idiot lights that read 'watch' ended up only fooling)for what I paid for it. I've had many remarks on what a fine car it is for the year and still to get 25mpg in this market is satifactory."
