"This 2003 Pontiac Grand Am was my very first car I got while a Senior in high school. I bought it with 36K miles on it. I could never decide a "Name" for my car so I call it 'Car' she is a girl though haha. I have now owned this car for a little over 8 years. I did not really know much about cars and learned a lot on the way. I think this is the absolutely best car ever. I have replaced the fuel pump while it was still under warranty, I replaced the starter 1 year ago and just replaced the coil pack and spark plugs besides the obvious breaks and belts that need replaced. This car has been totaled 1 time and was brought back to life because the damages cost less then the value of my car ( which valued at $8,000 five years ago at the time of the accident) This car has had a lot of things happen to it and has kept me safe through all these years. This car has needed almost nothing replaced in all the years i've owned it. Best car ever!!! Still going strong with 113,981 Miles!!! Would recommend it to anyone!"
"I bought this car as the 3rd owner a little over 3 years ago & I have only had 1 mechanical failure b/c the ignition switch needed to be replaced. GM sent out a recall notice about having too many keys on your key ring approximately 18 months later.
I absolutely love this car, even get decent gas mileage.
It rides really nice on Rt 81 doing about 80 miles/hour on my way to WVa to see my g'friend's step-mom.
I REALLY wish they still made them!!!"
Pros: "Starts in cold winter, good on snow, shifts nice"
Cons: "not-so-fast engine"

"I bought this car as my first car in August 2014. It had a nasty crack in the windshield, but besides that, it seemed fine.
Its my first car and seems to be plugging away fairly good. Its far from being fast, it has good pickup and can get up to 100KM/H fairly quick, for a V6 3400L. Two of my family members are mechanics, good ones at that, and both have said the Chassis and the engine, trans. etc are in good shape, especially for a 15 year old car in Sask. Winter. Little rust.
It started in -40oc weather this winter everytime but once, but the time it didn't was my fault (listened to the radio on the a cold day without starting it or driving it for a while, so it drained the battery). Started over my parents 06 Taurus and '10 Traverse. It is also fantastic in snow. Stops and goes easy, and will go through big snow drifts.
The stock stereo is also really good.
It did scare me once though, whilst walking to it during the winter, and after command starting it, the right rear tail light went *poof* and the running light stopped and I believe some wire got burnt or cut.
Its okay on gas. Can go for 25 minute drives almost every day for a week and go from a little past half to a quarter."
Pros: "Great price; sporty; little to no mechanical probs"

"I've had this car since 1999 (16 years) and it has been a great car. I've had very few mechanical problems with it, and most of those occurred after the car was well over 10 years old. It was definitely worth the money."
"Great car 2nd grand am I've had, first one was still running strong at 140,000 with touch of rust here and there. Great car for the money gets up and goes pretty good for a v6 and still gets good gas mileage feels sporty for a gm car only problem was intake gasket on my old one new one is perfect a good reliable car ,easy to get 200,000 out of them."
