Pros: "Very good price for an AWD w/ power everything"

Cons: "They stopped making them."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"It's a very versatile vehicle. Because it was one of the earliest crossovers, people weren't too fond of the exterior design. I do think the design is viewed better now than it was in the past, primarily because people are used to it and other similarly shaped vehicles. It's amazing for camping. The seats come out easily. We put a full size air-mattress in back, and fall asleep while gazing at the stars. The car handles like a smaller car, but has some meat behind it. It doesn't feel like you'll immediately be smooshed in a car accident like my Subaru did. The best thing is, this was an expensive vehicle when it was made, but it didn't sell well because of its looks. Thus, you get a car with many features and the reliability of a car that sells for much more."

"We love our Aztec. Too bad they were discontinued by the mfg. We would get a new one in a heart beat. They may not be the prettiest car but are very dependable, and functional. Is priced well and lasts for ever."

Pros: "No way stay away"

Cons: "Multiple expensive break downs and repairs"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"I bought this used with 93000 miles on it. Nothing appeared to be wrong with it. Well not two weeks later the head gaskets blew. Supposedly the dealer fixed it. Well another couple months after that repair all kinds of lights were starting to turn on. It started with a Torque converter needing replaced (in the transmission $$$$$), then the traction light possibly just a wire corroded. Next the front started to shimmy and the abs light comes on. Then fuel gauge starts going crazy needs a fuel pump because one little switch went out $300 for just the part. Then it decided to start overheating, Head gaskets, intake gasket, water pump ended getting ruined, serpentine belt was fraying. It needs engine work, transmission work $300 parts, front end suspension work, the whole fuel tank has to be dropped and fuel pumped replaced for a $30 part. Every job is pricey even if the parts are not. Everything together to repair is worth twice the cost of the vehicle. Now keep in mind it had one owner before me appeared to be a mom car with a toddler based on music I found, it is in great shape as far as the interior and exterior. Looks great totally excellent condition except all the mechanics. Others I have spoken to have had about of problems with the this particular model of vehicle. I would not recommend buying one no way no how. I went from 95 Honda Accord with rust and repairs 180000 miles but it ran. After paying $4000 in Sept. 2013 and 6 months I couldn't drive it anymore. So with a discounted $1500 in part and repairs plus 3 more months I might get to drive it soon but it will still need another $2000 in repairs. JUNKN WITH A CAPITOL "J"."
