"We purchased this van from my in-laws because we have a child and it has been very reliable. It doesn't get great gas mileage, but it does get good gas mileage."

"We had this van for 15 years and 4 months; it was traded in for a 2009 MINI Cooper S four days ago with the C4C Program ($4500). My mother-in-law bought this van brand new for us one month before she died of cancer in May 1994. My kids grew up with Mr. Van (a simple name we gave it), we drove it cross-country (mainly from California to Ohio) for about 5-6 times, and we used it for everything from vacationing, commuting, to shopping. It was comfortable (LX model with top-of-the line interior and a 3.3 V6 engine) and versatile; the interior also held up extremely well. IT NEVER NEEDED ANY REPAIRS!!! The only slightly more expensive maintenance item that it needed was a starter two years ago. Other than that, we changed the oil (every 5000 miles), bought new tires every 50,000-60,000 miles, put Freon in the AC occasionally; and more amazingly its original brakes lasted 100,000 miles!!! I know we may be the lucky one, but Chrysler did make an outstanding product, at least for us!"

"I bought this van new in 1994 and have put 170,000 miles on it. Very reliable, easy to maintain, inexpensive to run.Tranny was re-built (under warranty) and I had to replace the starter and CV boot at 100,000 miles.Rust is starting to show through under driver side door. Plymouth did a nice job with this model."
