Pros: "Gas milage"

Cons: "not much room for more than 4 people"

"very dependable, have not had to do any work besides the normal fluids and tires, runs without alot of high up-keep, and the best is the gas mileage!! This car drives forever on a tank of gas. if you want a solid dependable car without the high price this is it."

Pros: "Great on gas and faithfully starts every time."

Cons: "Seats are not luxury for long distance driving"

"I have driven to LA and back twice in this little car and she has been the best. Never had trouble. Have a mechanic that takes good care of it, and I told him when he thinks it is time to get rid of it to tell me, and he isn't ready to tell me that. Had the engine replaced because I didnt know what a timing chain was and to get it serviced...NOW I do. She has been faithful to me. Starts up every time. Great on gas and I don't want her to get old to have to retire her."

"I have had very few problems with my 2000 Plymouth Neon. I bought this car in January 2010 and have only replaced the drive axle and alternator. It still gets great gas mileage (around 27 mpg) Considering it had been smashed up and rebuilt(r title)this has been a terrific vehicle."

Pros: "Great price very reliable easy to drive"

Cons: "some routine maintenance is difficult to perform"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought this car new in Dec 99, I have put over 170k miles on it, the only problems it has had is tires, no matter what quality tires it has I get about 36-40k miles, and I rotate them regularly. Also the rear brakes tend to get dusty and make horendous noise when it is cold and damp. The only real bad thing this car has is the clear coat, it went south just after the warranty went out, partly my fault as I would only wax it once a year... the interior is showing very little wear considering the miles it has been driven. everything it has needed has been routine maintanence, belts, hoses, water pump, timing belt etc."

Pros: "Fun to drive, cheap to repair, easy to work on"

Cons: "Wish the center console was bigger"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

Not mine but just like it same color and rims ect.......

"I purchased my 2001 plymouth neon used from a private seller with 120,000 original miles on the car. I purchased it non-running, it turned out to be that it only needed new battery terminals, $3.99 at autozone. Since then the only issue that I have had was when I took the car through water that was higher then I should have, it caused me to have start issues for about a week til the car dried out all the way ( my fault completely ). The car rides softer and feels more stable then our 2007 ford focus and also has a more sporty feel then our focus. Its a shame that dodge has killed these cars, and that people gave them such a hard time because of the name. They really are very good cars, very easy to work on and best yet cheap to get parts for!!!"

Pros: "great on gas, goes well in the snow, reliable."

Cons: "nothing"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bouught this car from a dealer used it was a rent a car had 32000 miles on it and it now has 18700 miles on it 10 years later and it has been the most reliable car I have ever had. I have never had it leave me broken down along side the road I have 5 kids with another in June and I hate to say my family is out growing my car so I have to trade my neon in for a bigger vehicle if dealer won't give me a fair price I will just keep it. I love this car very very dependable and reliable and comfortable. I live in the wilderness and this car has held up through windy road, dirt roads, etc. also goes very well in the snow with the front wheel drive. I would recommend this car to anyone."
