I owned and sold this car
Reason: Upgrade - My approximate mileage is 168,000
Pros: "Plymouth = Dodge for less $"
Cons: "Low quality,"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 5
"Bought a used 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE in 2006 with 60,000 miles on it. Had more problems getting it from 61,000 to 100,000) than from 101,000 to its current 163,000. Mechanical problems included air conditioning (compressor (twice) and evaporator ($$$)), alternator, starter, tie rods, electrical switches, power windows, and water pump. That said, the 3.3 ran like a bull with great fuel mileage and performance. Body design and interior was simple, very functional, and practical. Like all Chrysler products, quality really fell off when it came to the body. Paint was thin, cheap in appearance and would not hold a shine, the bottoms of all doors suffered from "Chrysler Door Syndrome" (they rotted out), and we went through two sets of OEM driver's side hinges. For the car that defined defined Chrysler, they should've done better."

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 189,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"'97 with 189000 miles and only put about $500 in repairs so far. Even in MN cold never had engine heater and starts with no problem. Comfortable for long trips. Bad rust, but interior holds up well and engine runs like a top. Uses about 1 qt oil every 3-4,000 miles and a pint of transmission fluid about every 7-8,000 miles due to leaks. This is the 3rd van we've owned of this make and the others ran fine and sold at 200,000 miles so we could buy a newer one."

"I bought this vehicle new in 1997. Had it serviced regularly per Chrysler recommendation. It performed great for 14 years, 379,000 miles. Amazing!!! Transmission started to give out at 378,000. Replaced it with another Chrysler minivan."
