Great Minni Van !

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 117,500

Pros: "Easy to drive and plenty of room."

Cons: "None"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Has 3.8 engine. Only replaced alternator, brakes, tires, thermostat. Mostly normal maintenance. I drive this van back and forth to Fl and get an amazing 27 mpg with it.Just change oil and filters and go. My only problem has been the right electric sliding door sticks sometimes when it's cold outside. It's also great in the New England snow ! Too bad they don't make this one anymore."

92 3.1 olds silhouette

"bought it w/136k just turned 195k real basic upkeep did it all myself love it gets me everywhere I need to go sadly it will be my project van after buying 2 newer vehicles here in the near future but after i'm done with it my wife may drive it again instead of her new one!"

Best Van ever!

"I have a 1990 - its a classic! I live in Salt Lake and it still hasn't started rusting. I drove it to Las Vegas in back a ton of times with no problems. It overheated a few times due to a leak in the water outlet, age just started catching up i guess. I took it through the drive through wedding chapel and got married in it."

Hate to lose it

"Bought this 1991 in 1991 NEW. Now it has 225,000+ miles on it with absolutely NO major repairs. Doesn't burn a drop of oil between changes. Never any engine or tranny work - just normal maintenance - brakes, tires, oil changes, etc.. It has been all over the US from Cal to Florida. Now it has developed major front suspension wear which would cost more than the value of the van so it is time to put it to rest.. I have never had a vehicle that could be used for so many things. It has been used for everything from hauling kids, 4x8 sheets of plywood, trees, dirt, gravel, sod, garbage, you name it it's hauled it. It now must go to Silhouette heaven (if there is one). This is really the best vehicle I have ever owned and I will really miss it."

1994 Oldsmobile Silhouette V6 3.8L

"I just recently got this van and it is great. it needs alot of engine work since parts are starting fail from age. Has alot of power too it can really lite em up if you hit the gas down to the floor. I consider it a Spaceship. MY Spaceship. Fits 7 people though, seat belts all work, and I de tangled them so they are correct. Easy to work on most things on the vehicle. Seats come out to put alot of stuff in."

great van

"i bought the van for my wife in feb. 08 and it has over 200 thousand miles and she only has one complaint. other than that she loves the van, hauls cargo well moved many things with it since i bought it."
