Pros: "durable, comfortable, big trunk, on-wheel controls"

Cons: "not great on gas, steering fluid under engine"

"I've had this car for the past 4 or 5 years. I bought it used, so it came with some issues, like it had clearly been in an accident because the doors had obvious bodywork. Overall I do love this car, because despite its minor issues it's still quite reliable. During a yard sale someone asked me if I would sell them my Intrigue. I'm really struggling with the idea of selling it now. It seems to guzzle gas, which is not preferable. Mine also seems to guzzle coolant, not sure if that's an idiosyncrasy or if I have a leak or what. I love the controls on the steering wheel. I don't love the backseat cup holders simply because cups fall out of them. Front cup holder is fine but there is only one. If you need to add steering fluid, you have to go to a mechanic or be one because it's located near the bottom of the engine. All other vital fluids are easy to check and refill."

"Purchased this car with 106000 miles on it. I put 10,000 miles on it, only had to replace the muffler and some brake lines, but found out it was never rust coated, so I sold it, A mechanic got it and replaced the struts shocks and under coated it, repainted it and pinstriped it and I can buy it back for what he's got in it. Yeah for me!"

"Although this was the last Oldsmobile made it has been a fantastic car. Just curious on price for insurance purposes. I have been faithful with maintenance, tires, repairs when necessary. Thanks to an excellent auto shop which I have used for just about forever, am not afraid to drive long distances on a regular basis. Am an old person now, and have had many, many cars. I have driven this one the longest (next best was a Pontiac) Can't recommend it because they don't make them like this anymore....LOL"

"My Intrigue was an 'executive program' car with 12k miles on it when I bought it 16 years ago. It's V-6 engine was built in Limo, Ohio - known to last 350,000 miles. Optional amenities on other cars came standard on this Intrigue. It has been a great car & I loved driving it."
