Pros: "great price, reliable, great gas mileage, reliable"

Cons: "window lock is in a bad place"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I bought My Oldsmobile Intrigue used with 127,000 miles, mostly highway miles. It has three small rust spots, otherwise almost perfect condition. I paid 1,300 for it. I had never even heard of an Intrigue before looking at this car. I absolutely love this car, it handles like a dream, tight steering. It has major pep, no problems with acceleration. It starts everytime I need to go somewhere. I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable car to drive. It gets great gas mileage. I love it , and the price was a dream. I really did get a deal with this car."

Pros: "Fun to drive and proud to be seen driving it."

Cons: "I can't think of any cons at the present."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Purchased this vehicle from an old lady who was the original owner. Use it as a second car only. Maybe driven 25 miles per month. No rust on the vehicle. Excellent condition inside and out. Must see it to appreciate it. Runs great, never has failed me yet. I have reached the age where 2 cars are not necessary in our household. This vehicle has no lien on it. It is a clean sale."

Pros: "fun to drive, smooth and responsive"

Cons: "Chrome stocks flacked, wheel bearings"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"I had a 1999 Olds Intrigue GLS and she was my baby. The stereo was crystal clear the power was there when you needed it the steering was smooth light as a feather and responsive and the gas mileage was better than the 07 Altima I had before it. The Interior was grey leather with power front buckets with the Bose premium sound system. there was little to no wind noise in the cabin and it rode as smooth as my mothers Caddy. It had about 84k on it when I lost it to the bank do to a lay-off at work and the only issue I ever had with it was the wheel bearings in the front. I would highly recomend this car to a friend and will always remember the fun times i had in it."

"The car has great power without sacrificing mpg, especially for the year it was built. The frame has held up through 14 winter without any serious rust issues. The only fix that I have made to the undercarriage was this year (2012)to patch up a hole in the exhaust pipe($110). The Car is very cheap to maintain. Great first car!"

Pros: "Good power; generally reliable"

Cons: "It's just old at this point"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6

"I'm the original owner of my 98 Oldsmobile Intrigue GLS. I've always loved the looks of it, the engine power, the leather seats and the nice stereo. My ex husband has the same car only 99. Both cars have had quirky electrical issues, front headlights had to be replaced because the turn signals kept going out every month or so. The moonroof stopped working about 3 years ago. The struts are shot and so the car vibrates at high speeds but I should have had them replaced a long time ago. Now it doesn't seem worth it. it's been nice not having a car payment for over 10 years. I'm giving it to my daughter to use at college. Like any car, you have to take care of it if you want it to last. My next car is a subaru sedan fully loaded. I intend to keep that 15 years too."
