I own this car - My approximate mileage is 252,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fast, reliable and worth the money!"
Cons: "Numerous interior problems, door handles are weak"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have owned this car for 14 years and I have put 220000 miles on it! She is fast and reliable. I have never been stranded. However the interior seemed to go downhill fast! I have replaced both door handles numerous times leaving the door panels a mess. I don't think they were made to be taken off and on so many times. I have had to replace the gaskets on it about 10 years into owning it but it was just $500. I do believe it needs the same thing again but we have driven it for 60000 miles with the oil in the water and she still is running like a mean machine. I have to admit I'm not much on upkeep so I'm sure this car would last even longer if I had gave it some TLC but it's too late for that now, we are just driving her till she dies. I have definitely gotten my money’s worth on this car! I think the total cost of owning this car has been $950 a year not including what gas has been used, but it could average out less because she is still going! Tires are quite expensive due to the 16in rims, but I run my tires till the cords show! I think I have maybe given her 3 oil changes in her life, maybe 4. So all in all this is a good car or at least has been for me. O and did I mention she is very fast!"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 187,000
overall rating 10 of 10rating detailsLikely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"I have it now for 17 years. It has 188,000 miles. It starts everytime. The time that it does not start is when the battery is dead. I just had it painted. It looks like new . It ihas the original color teal green.i am 70 years old . I'll keep it until I 'lll hang up driving. I had the turn signal fixed this summer and some parts that needed to be changed one of them is gasket. I will have the timing chain replaced next month. It's time. I luv my car. Gasket, and timing chain is affordable compared to buying a new car. I'd rather spend my money on the above than making car payments for 4 or 5 years. This car has been good to me. I am short legged and the seat is adjustable. The leather bucket seats need to be replaced to match the nice paint job. My new mechanic was surprised to see how clean the engine is. He told me he was impressed how good I took care of my car. By the wAy, someone stole my 1995 olds in Dec2008 @ the Target parking lot.I was Not amused. I got it back after 2 1/2 weeks. I Paid $450 fr the Impound lot. Not nice. Thought it ended up in a chop shop. I luv my car. Cres"

I own this car - My approximate mileage is 125,000
overall rating 9 of 10rating detailsPros: "Fun to drive Great gas mileage on regular."
Cons: "Minor dents and scratches console is not cool"
Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10
"Over 30 mpg on the highway. Power top works like new and doesn't leak. Has great A/C top up or down. Sound system is really great. This is the last Oldsmobile Convertible made and was the top of the line with all creature comforts. It is now becoming a classic and value is increasing. With very little work or expense could be a show car or an auction hi-sale if you are handy with minor items (detail) Rare find and there are very few left Bright red with great original leather 4 bucket seats (2 in front and 2 in rear) At over 70 years old I am not able to do a complete restoral."
