Pros: "Comfort handling, safety, 4WD, directional indicat"

Cons: "MPG less than smaller cars,"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Pushing 60 my hubby insisted I buy a NEW car. Had never had one. I have just purchased a 2014 CRV and am still having a difficult time letting my Bravada go. This SUV made me feel so safe and I always felt the grandchildren were safe as well. The all leather seats were nice and the adjustable back of the drivers side seat was a big plus for me after many back issues. The is a great deal of cargo space and with the back seats down you can sleep back there. In the winter of 2005 there was a snowstorm that left more than a foot of snow. The neighbor was stuck and had to get to work. I pulled her out with no difficulty. I was able to climb a steep hill to pull up to my front door with groceries. The 4WD only kicks in when needed. I honestly love this car. My husband is a mechanic and kept up with all maintenance. He has kept a log of every oil change, filter changes, and any other work he has done."

Pros: "comfy, short turn radius, fast heating seats"

Cons: "trans hump front passenger side, poor gas mileage"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 6

"Owned vehicle since new Oct. 2000. Transmission failed just over warranty mileage. Dealer helped with replacement cost, but still not happy. Operating costs have been reasonable with occasional maintenance/repair issues beyond routine. Poor gas mileage (less than 10mpg in town). Comfy ride for long trips and good cargo space."

Cons: "Gas, Gas, and more Gas is abouit the only complain"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 8

"One of the best in the winter and if feeling safe is a concern, then this would be the vehicle to get for the winter because it gives whoever is driving more confidence and that edge I haven't come across with any other vehicle."

Pros: "The heated seats still work"

Cons: "Gets only 18 mpg on highway 12 city"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 1

"I bought it used for my wife 5 months ago. There is a problem with the wiring in the dash area. The dash lights don't work so she has to use a portable light to see how fast she is going. Cruise control only works until you hit a bump then it shuts off and can't be restarted until next time. The indicators for direction, temp and mpg work intermittently. The side mirror adjusters don't work. The SmarTrak all wheel drive feature has never worked so driving and ice and snow with just real wheel drive is difficult. Good stuff.. Maybe as a new car it was ok but now it is a waste of money"

"Best winter vehicle I have ever had. Ice, snow, sleet, rain this Bravada goes through it all and with ease. If you get the chance to own one, do it. I've had back surgery this vehicles heated seats and adjustment makes driving a comfortable experience."

Pros: "Fun to drive, Comfortable, Reliable"

Cons: "Poor MPG (16 city, 20 Hwy)"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"Recently I had a 2000 Chevy Cavalier that i traded for a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada and I couldn't be any happier!Up in north east Ohio where we are we get alot of snow and the Smart Trak system comes in very handy. Recently I had to take a road trip and this vehicle performed very well, got 20 MPG on the highway and very comfortable to drive on long distances. The 4.3 liter Vortec motor is a beast and is probably the best engine I've ever had in a vehicle. The transmission shifts very smoothly even when cold. It currently has 114k and my mechanic told me i could get up to 300k or more if i took care of it. He said these are some of the best motors GM has came out with. Very nice sounding Bose audio system and the steering wheel controls are a plus. This vehicle also features the home link garage door opener, very handy also. I would recommend this SUV to anybody looking for a nice reliable AWD vehicle. It is also great for towing (3500 LBS)"
