Pros: "Can go anywhere. Comfortable leather seats."

Cons: "Nothing."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"This replaced my 93 s10 4.3l 4x4 after a wreck. Not only is comfortable and roomy inside, but with the AWD this thing can go anywhere. I mean I had bald, no tread whatsoever, tires on it and it would come up my driveway (27degree incline, dirt) even on the worst days when it had been pouring down rain. 2008 F150 4x4 with mud tires couldn't make it up, nor could the 2005 Sierra Denali AWD until it got mud tires. On top of that going down the road is smooth. Mine still has key-less entry. The only complaint which is minor is because I have the towing package with the 4.10 gearing, is when the vehicle shifts from first to second it grabs a little hard. Once you drive this vehicle you learn to compensate for it and it is hardly noticeable. Also the rear window can rattle, but is an easy fix."

Pros: "Unbreakable, great AWD, looks good 18 years later"

Cons: "Driver's seat uncomfortable for 5'11" 200 pounder"

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"We picked this up in MT as a dealer exec car for my wife to drive. The engine and transmission are unbreakable. Got 108,000 miles on the Michelin radials - the car is not driven hard. A couple of electrical problems and the car seems to go through brakes every 35-40k but it is otherwise dependable. Fuel mileage never was outstanding and its down around 13 mpg now but still looks good and leather is in good shape. I'd repeat and buy another but alas, Oldsmobile quit the biz."

Fun/easiy to drive when working, but had issues.

Pros: "Tough, power, smooth, good in snow"

Cons: "Gas mileage, electrical gremlins, unreliable fuel-delivery design."

Likely to recommend this car? (1-10): 10

"1992 Bravada 'W' engine, 4spd Automatic, ~160,000miles I've had this beast for 10 years, and has had engine issues off and on the entire time I've owned it. First the ignition coil, then the fuel injector and injector distributor, then the fuel pump, some lighting grimlins, alternator failure, exhaust system rust issues (even at dry mile-high altitude), fuel pump wiring harness, ignition lock cylinger stuck in 'on', now needs Mass Air Flow Sensor and O2 sensor ... Guess there's never been anyting extreme, just a bunch of issues for my aging mother to deal with. Overall a rather tough tank, hauls quite a bit, lotsa torque for get-up-and-go and power doesn't drop-off as it revs up when passing or acelerating hard. Lotsa space in back, even with an interior mounted full size spare. Awesome interior quality, far better than most other cars I have driven, even ones far newer and more expensive. Gas mileage was around 16-17 city when it was running right. Overlooking the issues over the years, it has been a good vehicle to have, maybe not as a primary driver, though."

"Vehicle has lasted a long time and everything still works perfectly. I have never gotten stuck and it seems to get around very good. It is a good vehicle for the money."

"LEMON ALERT!!! Do not be fooled, like I was, into buying this vehicle. Everything goes wrong with these trucks. The eletrical system is shotty. There's other posts on the site to confirm that. Power windows, windshield wipers (front and rear), power seats, doorlocks, compass, turn signals, heater core, air conditioning fan, radio, and cigarette lighters have all gone haywire or conpletely out at some point. The breaks, muffler, egr valve, and ball joints went caput at some time as well. My final good riddance canme yesterday when I sold it for a whopping $450. Why so low? Because the frame cracked at the passenger side wheel and basically made the car worthless. The only good thing about it was that it was comfortable and the engine gave me no problems...small consolation though."
