"I've had my 2001 Xterra since it was new. I now have 100,000 miles on it. This is the most reliable vehicle that I have ever owned. Nothing has gone wrong with it or needed repair. This week, I'm investing $1000 to replace the timing belt and do all of the other recommended maintenance. I hope that this will allow it to keep running well for another 100,000 miles. The reason I only gave 4 stars on styling is that the gray plastic bumbers & trim are fading. I don't know how to breath life into the plastics to make them look new again. As for comfort, it's great for a truck. This is a truck, not a luxery vehicle. And as such, it is more comrtable than I had expected but not ultra smooth and quiet as are high-end luxery SUV's. You buy this car because it's tough. And you should not expect to be floating on air."
"I have had my Xterra for 5 years. Never had I been in a car more reliable and comfortable before. I have never had any problems with my car. Anyone looking into buying an SUV should really consider the Nissan Xterra. My truck has over 100,000 miles on it and it still runs great."
"I love this SUV i have never had an SUV before. So this would be my first but since its my first i would have to say that it drives smooth, great SUV to take on long trips. Its small and compact fits anywhere. I have no complaints what so ever on this vehicle and i love this SUV and if i sold it i would be very sad. LOVE IT. would by another and recommend it to anyone."
"This was my first vechile. I never had any major problems with it. When I got the car it had 72,000 miles on it and before I wrecked it last week it over 100,000. Some of the interior materials are cheaply made and rattle a lot. Overall it was an alright car."
