"I've owned my Sentra for more than 14 years. All I've had to do is regular maintenance and repairs as things wear out. I've never once had to change the headlights! It gets great gas milage and is extremely reliable."
"Bought this car from my parents when the price of gas went way up a couple years ago. Got the car when it had 280k miles on it and it was gettig around 40mpg on average. Now im over 305k miles and the transmission has lost a gear, but this ar is still getting around 38mpg and has never had any other problems besides missing fifth gear.
The only problem with this car is its kind of noisy, and not all that roomy for someone over 6'' tall, other than that ill probably get another 30k miles out of this car before it decides to quit."
"I bought this car for $1300 when diesel went over $5. It paid for itself in savings in six months. It has been a total turn key car and have no problems with it, except tires wear quickly (walmart specials). It had 114000 when I got it and now has 127000. With the five speed I have gotten 42mpg on the freeway and consistently get 32-38 around town. I really like the fact that this car is reliable and I have taken it on 1000 mile road trips with no problem. Although I'm 6'3" with a "young" back and this car can get really uncomfortable quickly. The money I save in fuel makes up for it. Its also really noisey. It would have been a perfect high school/college car. No problems!"
"I bought this car used and I have not regretted it at all...good gas milage. always starts , I have replaced the battery, and muffler...other than that I put a steering wheel cover on it, changed oil at 3000 miles. I now have over 185000 miles on it and it shows no signs whatsoever of any problems....I would buy this car again...if I knew how good this car was I would have bought one new in 1991...I plan on buying a new one , my son wants this one so when I give this one to him I will buy myself a new one."
"This car is great. It has get up and go power. I got this car used in 2005. It was in great condition and I had to tweek little things here and there like buying a new alternator, brakes, battery, and things like this that I find to be regular maintainence on a car especially this old. The belts on the car require a mechanic to replace them and can get a little expensive, you can do it yourself if you like but they are tricky to get loose and to get back on. If taken care of properly it will last you a long time. The only thing I find that may be a problem with comfortability is that if you have long legs or you are traveling with people who have long legs you may find that the leg room is a little cramped in the back seat if the two front seats are pushed back all the way or even slightly. Other than that this is an excellent car."

"I have a 1993 sentra with 300,000 miles on it and it still runs like a new car,I have keep the oil changed very 3000 mile and this car still don't use are burn oil.
This car gets 38 to 44 mpg on the hwy."
"Bought this car couple of years ago. Real good, needs some servicing such as muffler and brakes. Comfy, but rear is cramped. Big trunk. On an uphill going 55, the car would kick into 2nd but wouldn't make it past 40."
"I bought my Sentra new. I drove it daily until 2003, then it became a second vehicle. It has well over 250,000 miles on it. We got every pennies worth out of it and then some. The only repairs other than regular maintenance were brakes and a clutch. I would absolutely buy another one."
