"My wife talked me into getting a Pathfinder 6 years ago and she was right. I wanted to get an Explorer or a Grand Cherokee. The price of the Pathfinder was much better with everything else very comparable. My vehicle did excellent in the outdoors and look very sharp in the city. I wish that they would have continued this body style because that is no doubt what I would have bought. Now here I am 6 years later looking for something comparable and I have very good trade in value."
Cons: "minor cosmetic fixes to interior and exterior"

"I've had this car for 4 years. Overall its an awesome car that has taken me everywhere I needed to go (drove from Michigan to Alabama to New York and New Jersey). Minor cosmetic fixes (windshield recently got a small crack on the lower portion of the glass by the VIN number, SMALL rust spots, tear on the middle console). There are a lot of miles on this car. I would recommend this car as a starter car for a new driver or someone who isn't driving as much and as far as I am. FWD works great especially in the winter months. I purchased this car from the original owner who was a family friend. This car has been kept and well maintained for many years. Always clean and a clean title and carfax. Non smoker and no pets were ever in the car."
"Very dependable, and low maintenance. The only downfall is the gas mileage. We get 18 in town, 24 on the highway (not exceeding 60mph) and 20 on the freeway (over 70mph). It is great in the snow and handles very well."
"I have had my Pathfinder since new.
Very dependable over the years.
Only a couple things have needed attention. The brake rotors are thin and tend to warp.
The VDC had an issue that Nissan had a hard time trying to get a REAL answer to.
The BOSE system had an issue on one of the speakers that sounded like aliens.
So for 7 years it has been a pretty good SUV."
Cons: "Seat belt clips hard to clip when sitting there."

"This is my third Pathfinder. All of them have been great cars. Super reliable and a great car for the money. I have owned Chevy trucks, suburban and vans (good), Ford Explorer,Aerostar and Truck(bad), Honda Accord (okay), Volvo sedan (okay), Nissan Frontier (great), Dodge Van,Vista and Truck(okay), Jeep cherokee (okay), etc. Lots of Cars and the Pathfinder has been the best. I have had the 2008 Pathfinder bought used for about three years and not one bit of trouble. It has lots of get up and go, great in the snow. My only complaint are where the seat belts clip in-in the back seats. Probably changed in the new models."
