"Bought used with 47,000 miles and have added 150,000. Few repairs-fuel injector at 50,000, oxygen sensors, fuel pump, and suspension replaced. Paint has remained in great condition, drive it every day. You do feel every bump in the road even after new suspension. It has a lot of miles, but still runs great. I think of putting in a new motor when it does dies and keep driving it. Very pleased with the quality over the years."
"I bought my 3.5 se altima in 2012 used with around 70k miles and I've had no problems with it. It drives like a dream and picks up very nice on the highway. The only flaws are the outside noises when driving on the interstate and the interior could've been designed better. Overall I love driving this car and I plan on keeping it for a long time."
"I wanna thanks Nissan for making this cars for the people. I have A 2006 ALTIMA and i love it. You are going to be agree with me whenever you get you own one. It feels great when you are driving a 4 cylinders Sedan car with so much confidence and power in your hands, no matter where you are going you will have fun, it will give you good gas mileage, specially if you get the manual transmission. Friends just test drive one and find out more about this cars I am glad i choose this Altima. Thanks"
"I love this car for the most part. It rides great, and has lots of power. Its also the touring edition which makes for a more deluxe interior. However , i did have the AC fan motor give out and also had to replace camshaft sensors and the inside and outside tie rods. Over all, great ride!"
"Every service I had to spend average $2000.00 plus to fix manufacture defaults to engine problems! That average is calculated from the start of ownership and with every required service. This Altima was bought brand new! Car was kept in excellent condition and only has 50000 miles on it now after 10yrs. It went for every service required and still broke down as if it had 100000 miles on the clock....from the get go. I could have bought a luxury car with all the money that was spend on this Altima. The worst experience ever quality wise. Owned Honda, Opel, Ford and a Nissan. Can not compare the Honda and Opels quality to Nissan."
Pros: "Beautiful Car, Cheap to fix, Great gas mileage"
Cons: "RUST HOLES under the driver and passenger sides"

"I am a 19 year old looking for a used car to get me through for a few years. I saw this pretty Nissan Altima. It looked beautiful and after all the searching I thought I finally found a car. But I went on Kelly Blue Book and looked at the reviews, and THANK GOD I did.
Many reviews talk about the underneath of the car rusting through all the way to the floor you put your feet on. I thought this was an odd problem. When I went to go test drive the car I decided to take a look underneath the driver side door...... There it was, a HUGE hole. I was able to stick my hand up it and touch the insulation. The metal was crumbling in my fingers.
So a warning to all who want to buy a mid 2000's Nissan... CHECK UNDERNEATH. These reviews saved me from buying a car that could have had a dangerous problem. Thank you"
