Our third volvo wagon and the best yet. It is thirsty but offers a great drive.

Love this vehicle. It is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. Seats are amazing. Ride is solid & comfortable. V-8 engine is smooth & powerful. Would like better gas mileage, but averaging 18 mpg (21+ on highway), not bad for its weight & size. Given the 1 mpg difference versus the 6 cyl XC-90, you must drive the V-8 before deciding. It transforms the vehicle into a smooth, luxurious cruiser. Split rear tailgate is more convenient than I expected. I look forward to driving this vehicle every day as I spend a lot of time behind the wheel (25-30k per yr). Would like to see adjustable pedals for my 5' 2" wife like my previous Ford Explorer, but otherwise, it is perfect.

I absolutely love my Volvo XC90 with a V8. This car has so much power yet not with a huge gasoline price tag. I would highly recommend this SUV to anyone looking for a classy car with get up and go power.
