I have a 2005 Jetta Wagon TDI with 100,000 miles on it. I love this car! Great gas mileage (43-50mpg), fun to drive, reliable. It did blow a coolant hose at 75,000 miles and needed new rear brakes at 80,000 because they weren't aligned correctly at the factory. I drive A LOT (25,000 miles + a year) and this car has been great. Very good in snow (with snow tires) and has started every time even in -30 degrees.

I went from a truck to this car and I thought it would be very uncomfortable for me, but it is a blast to drive! I really love the stylish exterior and the interior is very comfortable. Great power, and I get great mileage on the fwy, but around town I haven't gotten good mileage in any car...

I bought my Jetta Turbo with 11,000 miles on it. It hesitated when you gunned it but was fixed by downloading new software on the car. This car is super smooth and fast! Even though I've already gotten 2 tickets in it this is bar far the best car I've ever had. Both my coworkers have Volkswagens also.
