We bought the RAV 4 V6 Limited to upgrade from a tiny sardine can four door, four cylinder sedan (will not name names). As a mom with one child, I personally did not want a van since we did not need that much room, and I'm not particularly thrilled with vans anyway. This was a perfect vehicle for me in terms of safety (safety always comes first with moms!), looks, brand reliability, and interior room. Basically it was everything I ever wanted in a car, even to the minor details, like the tinted windows, the hidden third row seats, the six disc changer, and there are additional cup holders in every door! I believe we are going to have this car for a very long time, like my husband has had his Toyota truck for almost 10 years with no major problems, just the basic wear and tear stuff. If this doesn't convince you, just at least test drive one. Good luck on your search!
