Bought used 08 Rav4 V6 sport. Toyota is the only car maker that has a better warrenty on used cars than new. 7 year 100,000 mile warrenty on a used car. I test drove a number of Honda CRV's that were supposed to be the RAV's competition. The CRV can only come with a 4 cylinder and coming from a very strong v6 that was in my Altima the CRV seemed so underpowered it made me sick. The V6 Rav4 has a 5th gear which lets you get pretty much the same mpg as the 4 cylinders with an insane amount of power. Avg 28 hwy and still feel like i'm driving a sports sedan. The average CRV I looked at was significantly more money that the RAV too. I will say the CRV had a somewhat more stylish interior but the RAV's got it where it counts for less money.

Has a lot of room for passengers and storage. Comfortable seats, but the seatbelts don't fit my biggest/over weight clients. Good pick-up and fun to drive. I love that the 4WD kicks in when needed. A great feature for WI. I have a problem with the dark seats, which I thought would hide dirt. Instead, they just accentuate the sand and dirt my dog drags in. I also wish it got better all around mileage.

Gave up my sportage for this Rav. Have the V6 and pick up is noticeable BUT Kia gives you so much for so little. for example it had radio, tape and CD.think had better radio than my new JBL 6 CD system. Although I have the back up camera, that spare tire is still in the way as is the front pilar at times. I've had my rav 5 months and have 9K miles now. still breaking her in. I plan to keep it at least 5 yrs. all in all pretty happy BUT if I could I would get the sport model w/o the spare.
