My main complaint is the steering makes a rubbing noise when it's warm outside. After the dealer tried to correct the problem they had me drive another and also a Ford Escape and they all made the same noise. They told me I have to wait for a recall so they would know what to fix. I thought that was dumb and embarassing when it makes the noise. Other than that, the brushed nickle trim on the console scratches up easily. The car is peppy and drives like a dream and runs great! I love it!

Looking for a car with over 17mpg and under $450 for 60 months. Compared many cars. came down to Rav4, Civic, Ford Escape. Fusion, & Merc Milan. Rav4 was nice but loud and more $$ Hated headrests in Civic, drove 200 yards and parked it. Ford Escape and Fusion are equivalent to Mariner and Milan. but deals were better on Mercurys. Milan was nice but for $1000 more could get a SUV, Drove Mariner I$ and V6. I$ was powerful and better mpg, but motor lugged and shook. V6 only $1000 on deal. bought it.
