I've owned many sports cars from MGA's MGB's, Triumphs, and Porsche 911's and I must say from 5 of the 6 above points listed the MX-5 surpasses all of them for the price point, cost of service, and driving enjoyment. I am 6'1" so my only issue is the cockpit room is a little tight however, when compared to the older British cars it's very roomy. This is the second MX-5 I've owned, first was a 1999 and I am very impressed with the added performance of the 2006 and above. Almost bought a new Mini S but glad I went with the Miata. It's the poor and smart man's PORSCHE.

Driving this auto is an organic experience...you feel like part of the car and road. I'm 60 years old and my MX 5 is the most fun car I've ever driven.

This is my 3rd Miata. Had a 1991 red one. Then a 1992 Black Special Edition that was destroyed by an airplane! I would still own it if it had't been destroyed. The only complaint so far, it requires two pushes on the top up or top down button to complete the roof cycle.
